I’ve never had a boyfriend so I’m curious. I don't know if a guy ever had a selfie of me saved on his phone 😔

I know, a controversial question, and perhaps even a stupid one, but I've come across this claim often enough on GAG and it's about time we settled this once and for all. I do know, however, that I myself am not in any way irresponsible. I don't owe money, never use credit to shop (always cash), don't gamble, have a lot of money saved up just in case, never date losers, avoid potential mugging spots (not that there are any in this town), and generally behave like an adult. I don't whinge and complain when a decision that I made backfires, nor do I try to shift the blame onto others. I own my mistakes. Can you say the same?

This is bad... so his friend is a listened therapist. i just had a baby and now my boyfriend has spiraled himself into a gambling addiction. Its a card game (magic the gathering, doing play it...) don't know how I don't know and it got bad fast... like in 7 months it has escalated to the point of needing an intervention.

I don't know whats wrong with him... this is our first baby. He also gets very mad and I'm assuming wouldn't react well considering there's addiction involved. Its taking over his life to the point to where he's spending large amounts of time and money, neglecting me and the baby.

He played one night from 7pm to 7am and he had to work. He ended up missing his shift and waking up an hour later. That tells me it's more important than his job. He won't spend any money on the baby but i see him checking the mail daily and opening boxes of cards. Oh and to add detail he works with people who have addictions at his job... the irony is real.

My crush was a little short tempered with me at work the other day. Nothing major, he was just a little abrupt towards me. He is leaving on Friday and he has a lot of work on his shoulders. However, it upset me because I did nothing to deserve it and I know he would never speak to anyone else at work like that.

I gave him a wide berth for the rest of the day and was monosyllabic when he tried to talk to me, which was immature on my part.

Towards the end of the day, he asked me to do an activity and I declined at first but he persisted. He then kept asking me if I’m ok because I was quiet. I said yes and he kept asking “are you sure?”

Would this indicate that he has feelings for me, if he’s concerned that I’m being quiet with him?

We hang out with the same group of friends. He always makes a lot of comments and considerations about my personality, which annoys me a bit. A selection of things he said about me I can remember about:

- he often compares me to his mother

- He thinks “I know a lot of trivia” (not sure how to take that)

- He tends to think that I’m better at doing things than I actually am

- he sometimes comments my hobbies saying I’m ready to become a mom

- he once commented in a surprised way that I am more playful than he thought I would be

- he’s usually making compliments as to my abilities

- he’s usually very caring with me

- I’m pretty sure he talked to one of his male friends about me and complained that I am too independent as a woman (because his friend called me out about me not letting men be gallant with me and that’s something that I’ve already heard from him)

My (23F) ex (28M) and I recently got back into contact. He was my first boyfriend right out of high school. He is part of a program where he has to make amends. He admitted he tried to get me pregnant on purpose on many occasions. We grew up in the same neighborhood, we lived in a poor majority Latino area were single motherhood is the norm. He owns a good amount of real estates which he got paid in cash when we were together. He said he just wanted to have an "heir" to inherit all his assets once he was gone but didn't want to be a father or pay child support. I thought to myself that's horrible, looking back I had a lot of close calls with him. Should I forgive him?

I don't know. I don't understand. It. Based on what I understand. Alimony exist. So government don't need to pay to divorced women. In past it used to make sense. Because many women didn't used to work. But now? Hmmm. There should at least be some limit on alimony. Getting half of everything is insane to me. Alimony should be limited to enough wealth that they can live middle class lifestyle. Not billion of dollar.
