He was concerned because I went quiet?

My crush was a little short tempered with me at work the other day. Nothing major, he was just a little abrupt towards me. He is leaving on Friday and he has a lot of work on his shoulders. However, it upset me because I did nothing to deserve it and I know he would never speak to anyone else at work like that.

I gave him a wide berth for the rest of the day and was monosyllabic when he tried to talk to me, which was immature on my part.

Towards the end of the day, he asked me to do an activity and I declined at first but he persisted. He then kept asking me if I’m ok because I was quiet. I said yes and he kept asking “are you sure?”

Would this indicate that he has feelings for me, if he’s concerned that I’m being quiet with him?

I think you need to get a better idea of what he’s looking for now. Like if he’s flirting, is it with the intent of your connection progressing? Or is it a fun time pass while he’s on the clock, and maybe you chat outside of work but it’s not “going” anywhere, the romantic connection mainly takes place while working. That dynamic in itself is a tale as old as time, it is normal if not expected that when you’re spending that sort of time every day, one on one with an opposite sex person you may naturally gain attraction. Intent is what matters ultimately though, and I think you should want to be gaining the courage to ask him about that.

I also think it would be worth knowing if he has a woman he’s dealing with that you haven't heard about. Even if they’re aren’t fully serious, I’ve noticed men will act differently when they’re connecting with another woman whom they feel is more attainable at the time. By attainable I mean no conflicts, like working together and not wanting to date because of that.

Hmm this is actually pretty sweet that he kept checking on you! Like he must care enough that he didn't want you to be upset. And it shows he noticed your mood change too.

Guys don't usually pay that much attention to how a girl is feeling unless they really like her, ya know? The fact he asked you to still do something together after work even though he was stressed is a good sign too. Like he wanted to make sure you were chill before he leaves.

I'd say there's a good chance he has feelings developing. Why else would your vibe matter so much to him? Next time you see him before he goes, maybe thank him for looking out and say you'll miss seeing him around. Flirt it up a little! Then see how he responds and if he wants to keep in touch after his move. You never know sis, something could be there!
