One of the biggest stories coming out of the world cup (the real one) is the massacre of national anthems
France has decided to get 7,000 schoolchildren from diverse backgrounds to lead the singing. Mêlée des Chœurs, involves choirs singing each country’s anthem without accompanying music, but the response from fans across the world was overwhelmingly negative.

Newspapers are full of stories slamming the atrocious singing calling for kids to shut up.

So thoughts have France ruined the world cup with this? Should they stick to making cheese and leave singing to the grown ups?

My bfs older brother shouts in front of everyone and says negative things about his younger brother in front of me - that he’s an idiot and has a bad disability and what do I see in him and that he useless, etc…. why does he do this?

My boyfriend and I went for dinner to his parents place and his older brother happened to be there as well….. his older brother was being pushy about my boyfriend attending an event around the Christmas holidays and that he would cover his ticket….. he said it right in front of me and didn’t offer me a ticket or invite or even acknowledge me….. my boyfriend said he might not be able to go due to work then his brother started insulting him saying he’s the worst person and that he doesn’t care for his nieces or nephew…..

wasn’t this rude of him knowing that me and his younger brother are in a serious committed relationship? Secondly I have brought gifts for his brothers kids in the past so shouldn’t he have offered to get me a ticket or invite me?

Are you the type of woman that doesn't see the big deal with Brad Pitt or Channing Tatum? -- or a man who could pass on Scarlett Johansson or Eva Longoria? Do you find that you are pulled toward people that really aren't known for being conventionally good looking, but are because they have a je ne sais quoi about them? Like intelligence, humour, or some defining trait that makes them unique?

Years ago, one of my best friends told me she decided that Louis CK was sexy. She said, "I know it doesn't make sense. A balding ginger. No one gets that." But she said his confidence, humour, and the way he delivered his comedy was so appealing to her. It got me thinking, how many others truly do see beyond the traditional, wild good looks and see a sex appeal underneath what would be either average looks, or unconventional good looks.

They approach US for dating or sex, they ask US to marry them. GUYS are the one paying random girls online just for being attractive. Guys have even given random women money in person JUST for being pretty to them. You don’t even HAVE to be pretty for a guy to approach you, they approach EVERYONE. So why is the blatant lie that women are supposed to be or ARE the submissive ones still going? Are approval is needed for EVERYTHING they want to do with us.
