Depends on who it is. If it’s my immediate family , absolutely but anyone else is on their own

One can make payment arrangements with the offices of the hospital and or go on medicaid. No need to lend.

My family wouldn’t need money for that since their insurance covers it… I wouldn’t for friends.

I don't lend money - I either give money or I totally ignore their request. Lending is a recipe for disaster.
