It depends on why they need it and what they intend to use it for, but generally I don’t loan money, I just give it.
“Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.”
Matthew 5:42 NASB2020
So far as this goes, does it mean we must give to everyone who asks? No. We’d be broke in a week. However I prefer to give and not lend. God has blessed me with more than enough and I’m happy to give where I’m able.

yes of course, if you love your family, you certainly should help them.
It just depends on how well you get on with them. If it was me, I certainly would help them, family is more important than money.
But I wouldn't do it for my friends or girlfriend etc. I would only do it if she was my wife.
Yup, my sister (best friend that’s become family) needed help paying her tuition so I gave her money for that that’s a loan she will be paying back. But if she needs help buying some groceries or kitty litter I’ll help and vice versa those are things that don’t need to be paid back at least not in our dynamic. The same goes with my mom, I sent her a thousand a couple months ago because she was struggling
I always send financial help to my parents monthly no matter what. They don’t have to ask. I just want to.

Thankfully my parents are retired and don’t need money.
I do give money to my sister though. She has 3 children so never spends money on herself.Whenever I treat myself, I give money to my sister to treat herself. When I go shopping for me, I go shopping for her too.
Not anymore. I haven't in months and I’m content because all a sudden they have money to pay their bills and eat out all the time. I guess They could only play broke for so long.
As for me I’m a friend when I’m a friend & I’m your family when I’m your family but when it comes to money I’m not your friend, I’m not your family & I’m not a bank.
Yes I sure do! It makes me so happy when they call to thank me. I can just tell how excited they are 🙂
Only my parents and brother or my little dogs.
Hell the rest of family they are good just extending their hands and ask. They are lazy they choose that life.I've given money to my sister to help with various things
Always but it also depends a lot on their reasoning and arguments to why
My family does not need money since they are all rich or have rich parents / kids.
I've lent money when needed (deposits when renting properties), always needed it back (and have got it back)
Well I did loan some money to my mom a few months ago and she did pay me back
To my nephew gave him $4. I wouldn't give money to my brother as he never paid my mom back when he gives him money.
No, I'm the only one in my family who isn't super rich
Yes, some of them because I know their not liars and they actually need it and already know how to manage their money well. Basically, if their good and honest I help.
Yepp
