I’ve been married twice. My first marriage was very difficult and abusive, lasted about 12 years, and we had children together. After a number of years, I remarried and after seven years we’re still doing well. For a while, I’ve found myself occasionally thinking “I really wish he (second hubs) was their father” referring to my children from my first marriage. I’d never tell them that, nor my first husband either. But, I have said it to my second hubs who’s sweet enough to agree. I think it’s understandable, but I can’t help but wonder if this is a common feeling.

So say a friend suggests going to a resturant next weekend and then ends the comment with well "it's up to you" what does that imply to you.

This guy hmu one day and we talked for quite awhile, but I replied him late because I was busy but I didn't tell him that I'm busy. Then one day he just stopped replying to my texts, so I'm wondering could it be possible that he's irrated due to the fact that I replied him late?

No I don't mean the flame on your gas stove or that BBQ bottom of the garden. I mean a proper outdoor fire on the ground.

So some mofo asked me this in a gas station because I wanted cigarettes. "I'm --." and he asked the question and I was supposed to be packed up and hitting the road. I told him, flatly. He repeated and... that was it. Cigarettes are mine. Made me kinda happy he really thought I was a kid. Be more hilarious if he asked me for my ID. So have y'all had that situation for something? And how did it go? Was it annoying or hilarious?

Off course there are valid reasons to end a relationship such as it being abusive and toxic (or if someone wants children and the other doesn't) obviously but it seems that nowadays everything is a deal-breaker.

- After 4-5 years in a relationship they did a lame prank----break-up

- The infatuation stage is over and chemistry runs out after 2-3 years---break-up

- They are snoring badly and you can't get to sleep----break-up

- They arrive late on some dates but are overall a good person---break-up

Some people keep saying marriage is a joke. Well so are relationships, living together is a joke too... all that shaking up for a break-up later on lol. Everything seems like a joke nowadays. Seriously are people nowadays breaking up for anything?

I'm a black woman, I am ugly. This is not a troll post, not all of the times but most of the times people look at my face in disgust. I have been called ugly far more than I've been called pretty, I am aware. I am also dark I'm 5'5 and 139 lbs this changes nothing, my boyfriend is white. He thinks I am the most beautiful thing he tells me I am but I don't believe him because I am not. Although I do love him I may also have my own personal agenda by being with him that I've also expressed. I want better looking offspring, especially if she is a female. I DO NOT want a daughter that looks like me at all because I cannot carry the pain and hurt she will experience being ugly along with my own ugly pain. I am fine with boys usually ugly women make nice looking boys. I believe that his features will wash out mines, I want my children to be treated fairly and not like how I have for being ugly. Am I Self hating or being logical?

What would be worse to you?

- Your spouse cheats and you had to find out elsewhere. You were lied for so long. You thought the relationship or marriage was alright, only to find out that.

- They blatantly (no sugarcoating at all) tell you in your face they fancy someone else and want to be with them. Or they say ''I would like to sleep around''.

In my personal opinion, I'd say yes. I grew up poor and now I'm above average, and I have to admit that the traveling, the nice house, nice things and easy access to stuff does bring me happiness. Of course I have problems like everyone but... it's just easier getting over it.
