Do you see karma working when you google people you knew from the past?

I know good looking and intelligent people with bad karma who failed at life

And I know ugly and normal intelligence people who succeeded because they had good karma

And I heard that in original South Asia, karma was a word for action and not a word for moral judgment so karma was basically engaging in the right action and behaviour and making the right sacrifice

I also believe people with good karma, get extra support when they try to succeed

While people with bad karma, do not even get the support they are due

I never google people I knew from the past - they're in the past for a reason.

Good karma bad karma it basically luck that get you through life

I do when I google somebody and I find out he/she is dead.

UPDATE: I spoke too soon. I met somebody while I was working in another state for a couple of months. This was almost 30 years ago. We became friends and before I was going to leave she confessed that she had feelings for me. We id stay in touch for a few months afterwards. She was dealing with a recent loss and I wanted to be supportive. We wrote letters and we called each other a few times. I sent her a birthday present and i never heard from her again. Fast forward 25 years and I get curious about what happened to her. I did some poking around on the internet and there wa really nothing but she may have gotten married and not use her last name anymore. I checked to se if her father still lived att the same place and I saw his obit. It said he was predeceased by a daughter. I don;t know what exactly happened but it certainly was the exact opposite of Karma.
