Yoooo I like how one of your options was “im on vacation to relax” — is exactly what my friend said. So, you guessed it. Out of 7 people I just had vacation with, I was the only one who was excited we had a gym at the hotel and was also the only one who got some reps in. Unfortunately, it was the last time I seen and used my air pods before heading back home with a 9 hour drive. THE AIRPODS COST MORE THAN THE STAY! 😭 I assume you like to exercise even on vacation! That’s great! I need more people like that in my life.🤣
Yeah I’m the same way. I don’t go there to work out and it shouldn’t be about that. I just really know myself tho. If I know I have 3 or more days off in a row and I know that I’ll be out drinking, smoking mad weed and overdosing on food for days I gotta at least do some pushups or play basketball for a bit. I also have to type of body that needs lots of food and exercise to counter balance. It’s scary. I’m actually eat lots of food all the time when I am active and working out every day that amount of food that I need triples. I guess I personally like eating lots of food when I eat and if I’m not active for a solid week, I will see the results of fat in my face.
I don't specifically exercise. Nevertheless I am very physically active. Swimming in a pool or the sea. Throwing a ball around with family or friends. When on the camping I walk to everything, never use the car (only when leaving the camping). Plenty of activities like wind-surfing and a game of padel. Not for exercising, just for fun. I can imagine older people being less active, but for me that is just boring beyond belief. When you are in a place where it is warm enough to walk around in your swimwear it is no time to just ignore all the once a year activities you can do. (I am Dutch and go to southern Europe on vacation. "Gaan naar waar de zon schijnt." is what my dad always says.)
I love going climbing at different places I vacay to. It's really fun to explore new gyms in new places!
Plus when I vacation, I'm taking time off work and obligations. But exercise is fun!
And working out in hotel gyms then enjoying the hot tub? Bliss.
Yeah, usually my exercise on vacay are hikes/biking/walking - I'll add in gym stuff if there's no climbing in the area.

Yes, I make an effort to include exercise in my vacation routine. Even when I'm not doing what I normally do, I still place a high value on physical activity. We don't specifically exercise to exercise, but quite often the activities we do while on vacation involve a lot of physical activity. Sometimes more physical activity then our normal exercises require.
Yeah, especially if the vacation involves the beach lol most of the time I get in more than enough walking to justify me not keeping up my normal exercises though. When we went to Vegas I was getting 30,000 steps in every day. I definitely don't get them any steps in when we go to the beach, but the steps are reading through water so it's probably just as many calories burnt.
Yes, if it is a week or more of vacation. I just went to San Diego last summer and I jogged on the beach in the mornings.
My honeymoon was in Jamaica and I lifted and ran on the treadmill on several days.
Part of it is I like to enjoy my vacations which means I'm going to let go and eat bad and splurge so I still like to stay on top of my fitness and not gain weight. My Jamaica trip was all inclusive... I was eating a lot.
Absolutely. Trying to keep the routine whether waking up to use the hotel gym adds mores stamina to your vacation. Sometimes can justify if doing other physical activities like biking or a long walk over driving. Resorts may have morning yoga kind of stuff, always fun ways to keep active.
I love to exercise on vacation cause I view it as a form of entertainment since the gym is better then the gyms at my friends houses or among my basement work out materials.
going on a vacation is a good opportunity to let your body relax bc it's important , but if it's a long vacation then I would continue my exercise , plus while u go on a vacation there's a lot of walking and swimming or hiking (depends where ur at ) so that is considered exercising and moving around and some of these activities are harder (and more fun) then the regular exercise most people do
no i relax, but i do "exercise " in a way that i swim, walk a lot, play games with balls, maybe biking, if in winter than skiing and such
Yes. When there is no gym, I use my imagination to exercise. E. g. every strong tree branch or bar can be used for pull-ups. Push-ups can be done everywhere. Planking is ideal on a beach when reading a book, ...
If there is a place where I can lift weights yep but i have to say that Im not a big fan of running so if im in the coast I go swimming. We must stay fit 🤩
When I go on vacation I usually walk everywhere so it's quite an exercise in and of itself. Quite exhausting at the end of the day, so yes I do, but that's not the point. :)
Usually I do outdoor activities on a vacation that involve some form of exercise. Even if it's only hiking/biking. One vacation we went to some resort and spent maybe 8 hours/day bike riding.
Sometimes, if the hotel or resort has a good gym I'll use it, but if it's not something to write hoke about, then I usually don't. Do you?

I like to walk and I walk everyday upto 4-5 km, so I would like to walk, jog and swim in a vacation
I don't feel right if I don't workout. I also have a lot of fun lifting so I love it during vacation.
I ride my bike and go kayaking, I do pushups and situps and dips at the kitchen counter. Bfore I got the fske hip I would play some pickup basketball with the local kids.

I work out all the time. Vacation is a break from that. It is good for you to take a break from your workouts for a couple of weeks now and then. You come back stronger in the long run.
Most if the time. My workout routine changes a little but I still hit the gym or go for a run.
A bit of both. I can have a day where I’m a health freak then binge until my heart is content.

Well a hotel tend to have a eat as much as you can policy, so a workout room is needed. :)
I always tell myself to do it but when it comes down to it I’m usually so busy doing other stuff. I do at least get a lot of walking in.
My vacations are excercise. I go on vacations to do outdoor things. Scuba dive and snorkel. Snowboard, kayak.

my last vacation was a walking vacation in Europe - by that I mean walking to all the different historical sites was quite the workout
