28F, I’ve been single for 5 years. I dated someone briefly for a few months when I was 23 & I felt like I was settling with him which is why I’m glad things ended. He knew he was the first guy I steadily saw but wasn’t romantic with me, he knew what I expected on Valentine’s Day (the cliche stuff). Instead he takes us out to dinner & while he did take pay for most things/paid to take me on a cruise for his bday vacation I just felt like he wasn’t into me enough. That’s one example but he was too eager to have sex (wasn’t willing to wait for marriage) & that was another turn off. I’ve been single since bc I’d rather be alone vs feel I’m with someone mediocre. My guy and I have been together for close to 7 years on and off. We are way past the honeymoon phase but I still like being with him a lot. I am noticing however that he perpetually tries to engage me in fights by criticizing my looks or saying things he knows I will react to and then we will argue and emotions will get high and that seems to turn him on more. Recently, we got into our worst fight and he said he wanted to end things and move on. I got really upset etc at first and tried to make up but he was very mad and didn’t make much effort. When I told him off (I typically am never this harsh) and left — it hasn’t been been a few days and he really wants me, even more than normal. He suddenly likes me how I am and wants to only be with me etc and is very sexually attracted to. It makes no sense. Is this normal? Do you feel more turned on after fighting?

2 guy friends, a possibility of dating?

Both guys I've known online for 2 years, we talk on and off, with our good and bad weeks. I've met them eavh individually once, very different kind of days out and different guys.

Number (1) and I share a lot in common its almost strange. We share the same values and he's very mature. I can see something long-term with him. The only downside is that the differences we do have we argue over. He also has autism which means that there are constant communication issues. I feel like we're both very submissive people but that could be potentially comforting. There was no pfp when I started talking to him, so I talked to him for the conversation. In some ways I find him attractive, but it's 50/50.

Number (2) and I share almost nothing in common, although we seem to be able to communicate very easily. Once talking we are both there for each other emotionally and are passionate about our ideas. The downside with him is that I feel I'm constantly struggling to make conversation as it revolves around him. If a relationship were to evolve it would be short term. He is more dominant than myself. I started talking to him originally because he was attractive.
