Weather permitting, I take my bike and take my one hour ride along the river and the forest with an occasional stop by the banks of the river.
I will spread my blanket and do some basic yoga exercises and, in addition, perform some breathing exercises. This takes around mid way of my ride.
Sometimes, I will take a book with me and read a few pages or then just glance at the river and let my mind wander. I like the soothing noise of the water running over the stones and rocks. It does allow me to relax and calm down after a long day or simply think of nothing while resting my eyes.
If the weather is not clement enough or if it is raining, then I will simply listen to some nice and soothing classical music. That is about the only type of music that will allow me to calm down. I usually close my eyes and if I am relaxed enough, I will take a 15 minutes power nap while listening to the music.
Cleaning is more of a chore and not really relaxing to me. I never watch TV during the day, mainly because there is only crap on all the channels, to put it mildly.

One thing that I do after work is yoga. It does a couple of things. It is good exercise and helps calm my mind. I do yoga almost daily but mix in some other exercise activities. I just find that after I exercise, I just feel more relaxed.
Something else I do on occasion is meditate. It just gives me some time to slow my mind down. It does not have to take a lot of time just to clear your mind. Other than those two things, I would say cooking is something that is almost therapeutic for me.
My partner and I cook together. He used to be rubbish at it but has gotten really good as we started to do it together. On the weekends, we will have a glass of wine, cook and talk about our week. It is just something we enjoy doing together and does help me relax and calm myself.
That is especially true at the end of the week when we both know we have a whole weekend ahead of us where we can relax and unwind, other than the normal weekend chores and errands.
there's sub section of yoga breathing exercises called pranayam ( there's one called as anulom vilom thats a great one ) bhastrika is also good and brahmni it helps. There are several things that help me calm myself down. Cleaning, baking, working out, listening to music, and reading are a few of them.
Slow my breathing. Get outside in the forest for a walk or bike ride.
