I’ve only seen kids delivering papers on in and they are always on bikes, I wonder how it worked. Seems like a great job for the restless and in need of money 😅

I LOVE walking. I think I would’ve loved that kind of job as a kid where you move and make money, I’d like to have walked it, but I’m wondering:

What was the distance you covered per route, in miles?

How long did it take you?

Cohid you take on more routes if you wanted or was there a limit per kid?

How heavy were the papers?

How many days did you work?

I’m in my 30’s but probably look younger because I’m happier than them, into my looks and only have 1 kid. My neighbors are in their 40’s with 2 kids and tired of bills I’m assuming or their lives. Anyway what’s up with a married man disliking a single mom who stays to herself? I’m not gonna say I’m a 10 but I’m decent and I guess attractive to some people.

I've already read about the breed, have a very active lifestyle (I like exercising), have all the time and space available to train it and have an assertive/firm personality by nature.

The puppy will be 8 weeks next Tuesday and will buy it. I know it's going to grow up to be a very strong breed and I'm aware it's my responsiblity to teach it to be good. Even though this will be my first time owning a dog, I feel very confident.

Is it ok to start with a strong dog breed if you're very confident?

Note: If anyone wants to know which one I want to buy... it's the very breed that some people hate and has been given a bad repuation over the years. I don't believe so. I'm starting with that breed as a first timer.

This question is one where I have no way of answering myself but I was curious to ask regardless.

I think we are pretty much left to on our own, to sort out this side of life through trail and error— if even that. I think many people will go to their grave not even having rally been safe if what they needed emotionally. I recall reading when I was a kid that children need a minimum of 13 affectionate touches a day. I told my my great grandmother (who actually was the one affectionate person is ever known) would jokingly tap me 13 times every morning on my head 😂 I don't know where in the world they came up with that number it’s just funny bc it’s so ridiculous but was said with authority.

Anyhow I feel like a lot of people would be calmer snd happier and more helpful to others live healthier & probably longer, if that side of life was smoothed our. It’s really difficult tho to know what you need bc emotional needs - not material replacements - tho ubiquitous are unique & hard to market and so we don’t get much advertisement for them. Plus it’s not really something considered cool to talk about so I tbh k we get used to thinking of something basic as a special need for certain people who think about that stuff bc they need it.

So my boyfriend is talking to other girls on Snapchat that are 14-16 and calling them cute and beautiful and continues to talk to them and he’s over the age of 18. Is this wrong bc I felt disgusted but I don't know if I’m overreacting.

I found out my boyfriend of 3 years has done a couple tests on me; it was either setting up his friend to hit on me, purposely leaving money on the floor, lying about being broke once, etc.

I overheard him saying I've passed all the tests needed for the next stage (his wording) and that now I'm trusted but here is the issue:

I'm super pissed off and hurt how little to no trust there is in the relationship. I don't think I'm in the mood to welcome any surprise from him by now. I'm so hurt. I was excited like any woman about that moment but if he were to ask the question, now my answer is a NO.

Why be in the relationship if you have to play games? While most of my friends agree what he did was wrong, someone said he just wanted to make sure. I'm furious. Is it ok to still be upset.

You help a guy but he wants more than what you gave him. I had to deal with such a thing at my job and he got on my nerves so much, I told him to get lost before I called the cops. Soo how do you guys deal with those needy bums?

For years in the office, there have been employees who come to work sick either because they are workaholics, the employers don't give sick days, or the workers can't afford to take time off. As a result, everyone in the workforce for the most part, has just delt with it. Now with Covid impacting the workforce, what in your opinion, should the policies be regarding if a worker can be in the office or should stay home if they have it regardless if they want to come in to work or not.
