Okay so I just watched. It wasn't greeeeat but it wasn't bad. It was okay, good at best. Like 6 or 7 out of 10... at least worth a watch... just not in theaters. The jumpscares were good but the cast was just doing dumbshit like you wanted to see them die already 😂 Idris blood pressure skyrocketed and his eyes was red af. The storyline was unnecessary. I just wanted to see a crazy lion and thats what i got. Well it was better than Megan Fox’s “Rogue” and Carly Shroeders “Prey” 🥴

That lion was beatin the shit outta him like he beat the shit outta the Rock/Statham 😭😭😭 The folks in my movie theater helped the film a bit with their hilarious reactions. Gosh I miss active theaters cause quiet shit puts me to sleep. They were hyped and screaming over how dumb folks were 😂 But this Lion was on some “Scar” shit

It really doesn't interest me at all. In fact, it just kind of reminds me how bad movies are now because so much has been done that there are very few new ideas out there. Remakes of old successful movies are a sure thing because there's a whole new generation that hasn't even seen the originals. I talked with a 20 year old the other day who had no idea that there was an original "Total Recall" from 1990, with Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone. She just thought the Colin Farrell one was "awesome". LOL

You lost me at "Idris Elba". He's such an absolute pillock and try-hard. At least it's not another of his shit documentaries, where he just pretends to be a really manly man by doing things like boxing and driving fast cars - all of which he completely sucks at.
Still, it's just a cheap B-movie with a wildly unoriginal premise, so I'm not sure what there is to recommend it over any of about a thousand other similar movies out there...

Definitely, Im a fan of Edris Elba he's so damn delicious too look at and a really good actor who is able to play a myriad of characters which is important!

I love Ideas Elba and his movies are often fairly good. I have seen a few that I’m not crazy about though. So I’m a little nervous about this one. I can see your interest though! Killer animals are pretty fun stories!

And i knew the moment he took them to the abandoned school which would clearly have many openings that the lion would get in there. I was a little annoyed the other lions didn't jump in the fight sooner lmao. The dad was dumb for asking for an end fight when he couldn't do shit haha

lol! So that movie was the one I thought of too when I saw the commercials for this! I haven’t seen ghosts in the darkness since I was a kid but it gave me such bad nightmares that I just have never even tried since. I do want to see it again though now that I am an adult.

Okay so i saw it. It was even more “talk” than Beast. So i ended up fastforwarding to the action. The dream scene with the baby really got me and i was shocked Michael didn't survive for once. I do not recall Val being that damn fine! But in the end i wasn't a big fan on this film nor Beast. I need Rampage type action and oversized animals

I have sever issues with movies that aren't really about animals when they makes them unrealistic. Like I get it in movies like The Jungle Book and such, but the entire plot of this movie revolves around something that would never happen while trying to pass it off as possible.
A lion may attack people. It may hunt them. Yet it won't single mindedly stalk them for some type of revenge
