How a 10-Year-Old Rape Victim Who Traveled for an Abortion Became Part of a Political Firestorm
Florida court rules pregnant 16-year-old not ‘mature’ enough to have an abortion

Seriously? Most of those things you posted were debunked. The 10 year old rape victim story was twisted all out of proportion by the left-wing media. First, she was not denied medial care. No Republican would force a 10 year old child to have a baby. That is ridiculous! Naturally, your CNN forgot to tell you that the rapist was a illegal immigrant that crossed the open southern border. He was in the USA because of Joe Biden's open border policy. The number of people crossing the southern border is now over 2 million!! Why is this encouraged? These people are told they will be totally taken care of by the democrats. They will get free housing, free food and medical services. They will not even have to work. They are told that they will soon be given the right to vote and they must vote in every election, to keep those "Evil Republicans" from getting back in power, and if they do, they will take away their kids and put them in cages like dogs.
Another trick the democrats have that work really well with liberals is crafting bills with hidden agendas but good names. I will make up an example.. Lets say a bill that is promoted to provide more money for school lunch programs and free medical care for children. Sounds good, right? But in the hundreds of pages of the bill, it says that only 5 million goes to these things, and 50 million goes to fund "Drag Queen story hour" at elementary schools (That is a real project) , and 80 million to provide free transgender surgeries to kids.
It isn't quite that bad, but it is close. If you will read the bills you will see why Republicans veto them. Republicans are very much in favor of medical assistance for veterans. That was probably only 5% of the bill. They were voting against the other crap that was added into it.
Here is an example how your media twisted the truth on you. .. Trump made an executive order to cap the cost of insulin and other critical drugs to $35 max. During Biden's first week in office, he scrapped that order! Now, just a few months before election day, he decides to bring back Trump's plan and the left-wing media are giving him credit for it. Imagine that! None of the leftist networks complained when Joe got rid of it the first time. You are being played by the democrat-controlled news. MSNBC recently said, "It is our job to tell our viewers WHAT TO THINK". They do a very good job of it.
So. Much. Wrong.
She was more than six weeks pregnant, there is no exception in Ohio for rape or incest after a fetal heartbeat can be detected (which, by the way, would be by means of a trans-vaginal ultrasound, so a doctor raping the 10 year old with a device), and there are cases of girls that young giving birth, so you couldn't claim the pregnancy was an absolute threat to the mother's life. Yes, stupid Republican laws would have forced her to give birth.
The father had been in the country since well before Biden was president.
WELL DOWN, YOUR ARTICLE IS SO PERFECT
@blissinanarchy1 Let them live at your house!
Exactly, she would not have been raped had the border not been open.
Boy that TDS is kicking your ass... Too bad your pharma gods haven't marketed a pill for it yet.
1. The Republicans supported that bill until all the extra pork got thrown into it, more than doubling its cost and having very little to do with veteran's healthcare. I suggest reading more than just the title next time you want to complain about legislation.
2. You do realize that the Republicans were the ones who actually passed regulations on prescription prices during the Trump years, right? Again, go deeper than the surface.
3. Never happened. There is no state in the country that bans, plans to ban, or has attempted to ban operations to remove, for example, entopic pregnancies.
4. You do realize the Democrats are the party of billionaires, right? You'd have to live under a rock, or believe that Elon Musk is the only billionaire in the country to think this way. Their idiotic tax hike the Democrats just forced through with zero Republican support also exempted all their billionaire buddies, too.
5. See #3.
6. Let's assume that idiotic claim about nuclear secrets was even plausible... What you're saying is that it took the government establishment upwards of 18 months to realize that documents related to our nuclear arsenal are missing? You obviously have never had to handle anything even close to that level of clearance because it would require grotesque negligence of hundreds of personnel, including/especially the current administration for that to happen. If you actually believe this story, you've fallen for what might be the most pathetic psyop I've ever seen in my lifetime.
If you want to smear the Republican party, literally the only thing you have to do is point out how remarkably useless almost all of them actually are. They occupy 212 seats in the house, but only about 6 of them even make a serious show of trying to stop the abuse of government. They hold 50 Senate seats, but 10 of them vote against conservative values ~55-60% of the time, and again only about 6 are serious politicians looking out for their states. They hold 28 governor seats, but there's only 1 standout, a token few who are decent, and the rest are completely replaceable and it would change nothing because they're just going through the motions of doing what's minimally expected of them. All of these nameless tools basically rake in their paychecks and benefits of their positions, occasionally come out of their offices to make some campaign ads where they expose themselves as being just as disconnected from reality as their rivals are, and yet there's this bizarre sentiment on the right that things will magically turn around if only they take the house, or the Senate, or the Whitehouse - they held all of those for two years and completely squandered it even more spectacularly than Obama did. Realistically, the most that would happen even after taking all three is dropping anchor to temporarily stop the ship from hitting the iceberg it's heading straight into, God forbid they actually turn the rudder.
Don't worry, pills will be cheaper soon, now the Democrats passed a law allowing Medicare to negotiate prices.
1. No, they didn't. One line about taxes was removed from the PACT act, not one word or one cent was added to the bill. Which is why the Republicans were finally forced to vote for it.
2. You mean Trump's executive order a couple of weeks before the 2020 election he lost?
3. Louisiana. people.com/.../
4. Waltons, Koch Brothers...
5. Nothing to do with 3, this is Florida courts deciding a girl can't get an abortion. www.theguardian.com/.../florida-teen-abortion-forced-motherhood
6. Whatever they were, he had no right to take them when he left the White House.
This may come as a surprise to you, but members of the minority party are supposed to vote with the majority some of the time, after negotiating in good faith to make better laws. Outright obstruction is a modern invention of the Republican party starting with Newt Gingrich in the 1990's.
Since Republicans don't control any sector, there is not much they can do. It's just not possible because of the political climate these days. Preventing the original "Build Back Better" package from going through. But it's mostly thanks to the help from Joe Manchin who was a hero until he bent the knee recently. Since you don't know the truth behind the list you provided, you are obviously misinformed by only reading left wing news which is bad practice. For example, the reason the first PACT act bill was turned down is because democrats added a bunch of garbage into the bill which was unrelated to veterans. They can call it whatever they want. It's what goes into the bill that matters. Calling it "Save the children act" or "Kill the children act" doesn't matter. It's what goes into the bill that matters. Also, the things you mentioned are much more complex than you think. Taxing billionaires is not a one-page document. There are so many laws and factors that come into play. You need to have high knowledge in how these things work in order to understand them. Very few people know that stuff.
You didn't know all this stuff because you only read biased news which hides important information. You have to read both sides of the political spectrum to get the full picture.
When I saw your post headline, this is what first came into my mind...
You mean the 5 good honest ones or the 95% criminal Democrats who ran as Republicans to infiltrate the Republican Party?
Then when I read your text my question was answered.

It’s clear your political affiliation by your provocative / negatively worded questions…. You aren’t really looking for a discussion, rather affirmation of your own beliefs.
Unfortunately all the Bills these day are a collection of randomly grouped items off a wish list from each politicians donors. The Bills are also arbitrarily named (may or may not have any real association to the Bills name: like the Inflation Reduction Act).
No matter who has control of the House and/or Senate, each party adds a few minimal carrots that each group (Republicans or Democrats) can be called out for during elections (for either voting for or not voting for)….. when ultimately, the opposing group did not have an issue with the minimal carrots, rather an issue with the entirety of the Bill / spend.
It’s merely a game to incite outrage and further divide the masses….…and an attempt to sway voters one way or the other.
revolution2-0.org/.../
@goaded Sorry about my response…. I reread your original response and I somehow glossed over the words PACT act…. It seems to be on the rare side and be fairly narrow in focus.
It did pass and did still seem to be a bipartisan vote/pass; although, the 16 (14 nays and 2 no votes) that didn’t vote yes were all Republicans. Not sure what their issues were, on face value (no research on my part) it doesn’t seem like they should have voted nay (from my POV).
Your questions are cleverly yet obviously worded to be very biased and partisan in nature. Only to be eclipsed in ridiculousness by the wording of the choices given to the questions. So I'm going to try to take each of these very broad blanketed points that you have made and explain some of the detail as to why they occurred. First, if you are the majority party, and you have control of the Senate, the house and the Presidency of our government there is no room whatsoever to lay blame on the minority party because of your own failures misguided policies and bad legislation. Democrats are incomplete control in our current political environment and if you take a step back you can see all over the country what a disaster that has become. So far in this administration Republicans being in the minority position are not going to be able to pass any kind of legislation to try to accomplish anything they simply don't have the voting power to pass the legislation. The best Republicans can hope for is to stop the hemorging of democrat spending that's driving inflation through the roof and piss poor policy making that has this country turned on its head at the moment. I think that about covers your first basic overall question now I'm going to shoot down your questions one by one.
I'll begin with the PACT act which was passed in the senate in June 84 to 14 but the VA committee leaders discovered an obscure tax presvision that raised constitutional concerns. When the bill went to the Democrat LED house it was revised and Democrats added $400 billion dollars in mandatory spending totally unrelated to veterans healthcare or veterans in general. This not so clever backhanded attempt at pushing through special interest spending was designed and added to this particular bill to put Republicans in a position to have to vote against the spending which allows Democrats like yourself to accuse the Republicans of voting against the veterans portion which the objections by the Republicans had zero to do with the benefits that were going to be provided by the bill. It was Democrats underhanded tactics of trying to spend to spend more money on pet projects that have is where we are today. After the house revised the bill barely addressing the original concerns and adding 400 billion in wasteful spending Republican senators were proposing amendments to try to stop some of the wasteful spending but we're being shot down by Chuck Schumer who was refusing to work with them on anything whatsoever, leaving them no choice but to vote no at that point. Now considering Republicans had already passed the bill in June before it was revised you might want to point those fingers of blame toward your own side rather than the side that is referred to as the right side.
So you'll begin with a lie?
"I'll begin with the PACT act which was passed in the senate in June 84 to 14 but the VA committee leaders discovered an obscure tax presvision that raised constitutional concerns. When the bill went to the Democrat LED house it was revised and Democrats added $400 billion dollars in mandatory spending totally unrelated to veterans healthcare or veterans in general."
Between the two votes, one line was REMOVED from the bill, and not one word or one cent added.
The sentence: "Not a taxable benefit. A contract buy-out for a covered health care professional under subsection (a) shall not be considered a taxable benefit or event for the covered health care professional"
Yeah, that was the Democrats "adding" billions to the bill, right there.
they've actually done a lot of good that you will never acknowledge so I'm just gonna give you this one for fun. They made the Democrat's vocal wet dream of defunding the police a mainstream issue and kept it in the news so much that Dems, including Biden now say they never wanted to defund them (because it's an election year). 🤣 And we're just supposed to ignore their fiery speeches they gave calling for that defunding. hehe.
They also make sure to keep all the repeat criminals that Democrats release from prison overnight on bail in the news as those f*ckers keep committing more crimes. I would like to personally thank FOX News for this, as most mainstream "news" places won't cover those criminals if they know who they are. And quick searches to local news sites, verifies these stories so it's verifiable that FOX, and the Republicans on there are telling us the truth about it. :)
OHHH!! They also be shipping thousands of illegal immigrants to Democrat shit hole cities, I mean "sanctuary cities". lmao. But but but Biden and Dems keep lying saying the border is closed. Thanks Republicans! Otherwise, my city would be overrun with these criminals walking across the border which Dems tell me isn't happening... but it very clearly IS. Thanks again, Republicans. 😍
by the way, why are Democrats so upset about receiving those illegals into THEIR cities? They're shitting bricks about something that they tell US that we should put up with. This is 100% the most hilarious moment of 2022 so far.
As bad as Democrats are, and they're awful, Republicans are equally useless. Conservatives, patriots, and white people haven't had a party to represent their interests in over a generation, and all Republicans are trying to do is improve the economy, lower prices of gas, and ask "what is a woman?" without any follow up attack on the degenerate trans mob.
At least Desantis in Florida has the Stop Woke Act, making it illegal for companies to force their employees to take DEI/ Anti-racism training, but national level Republicans should be thrown in the same ditch as Democrats.
Yeah, Sir Globalist Cruz is equally as bad as Hypocrite Pelosi. DeSantis (R) and Gabbard (D) are probably the best high-profile politicians.
@maltipoo143 Raphael Cruz, aka Ted, isn't even an American. He was born in Canada to a Cuban father, and mother who just happened to have a US citizenship
The best thing Republicans have done this year is help destroy their own reputation. The further they implode themselves, the lesser the chance they have of taking full control over congress this year.
The disturbing thing is, at least 40 percent of the 2022 Midterm Voters will still go out, and vote for Republican representatives, senators, governors, etc. The party is fueled by white supremacy, but luckily, the USA is becoming more diverse all the way around, so I think the modern day Republican Party is in shambles because they themselves know that their base is made up of straight white people.
Here, I fixed your question for you:
What is the best thing Republicans have done this year?
A: Chased a doctor determined to prove Josef Mengele was a rank amateur out of office.
B: protected the rights of all Americans, particularly poor women and minorities to purchase self defense tools in places such as New York which has one of the most racially segregated school systems and toughest permit process for poor urban dwellers to get in the country.
C: 1.2 Billion dollar budget surplus in Iowa being returned to constituents along with using that surplus to plan further tax cuts. https://iowacapitaldispatch.com/2022/01/10/republicans-tout-victories-as-2022-legislative-session-begins/
The best thing they have done is upsetting degenerates. I find it sad and amusing listening to people who are upset certain segments of society will not condone a lifestyle of sucking off a horse while your husband watches, or burning the unborn in the womb alive in the womb with costic chemicals. The uproar that some people think there are only 2 genders is hilarious to me.
So the best thing they have done is give me a source of amusement in observing the ire of the ignorant and degenerate who are upset that some would keep them from turning society into a wholesale cesspool. Watching these people run around obsessed about Trump and the guy has been out of office for a year and a half.
Without a doubt removal of the baby killing machine payed for by tax payers an supported by the federal government was the best thing that has happened through all the chaos these few years. Since afghan disaster, sending 100s of billions to Ukraine, 30+ million illegals entering the country, dramatic crime uprising, complete insanity with pronouns/grooming/and woke culture, destruction of economy thanks to corruption at the federal level to abuse the Covid “plandemic” to spend trillions and pocket most of the money all caused by democrat leadership, removal of the baby killing law is one of the few breath of fresh air republicans have given us. Can you believe people want a 2,3,4,5th chance to abort babies and refuse to use contraception? Because it was almost never the case for rape and incest, accounting for only 0.03% of total abortions.
Those loony lefties oughta be damn proud of themselves for destroying this once great country!! Once the republicans take over, they should ship all the lefties over to China to see if they can destroy that country, instead. Chances are, their beloved dictator will have them all shot inside of a month!!
Stopped the federal government from intervening in abortion cases. It's downright sad that so liberals see ENDING government intervention as a form of intervention- and fully tragic that they can't look past losing a privilege to see WHY it was done.
I agree that the two party system basically makes a gridlock in congress and allows for so little work to be done that the country may start falling far behind the times. As much as I don’t like what most of the republicans do I think the democrats are similarly as bad. Some deep digging will back up both sides of my comment.
The best thing they've done is "not be Biden." He is simply not all there and as such is easily the most dangerous POTUS in a century. Or as my liberal friend put it, "I never thought I'd miss W."
Federal… not much.
Florida…challenging the wokeism corrupting society.
Well lets see if you were a journalist you would definitely be tilted to the democrat side. Im pretty neutral but republicans didn’t cause tension would russia or make the economy crash which is good.
B, because guess what, Demunists? Mandatory price controls don't work, and I am just waiting for the Commiecrats to try price controls on fuel like they did in the 1970s, so we can all line up for blocks for rationed gasoline.
Based ilegal immigrants to new York so those liberals can share the burden rather than just virtue signal.
Send them to DC instead. Move them into the White House and the Capital Building.
@Exterminatore Send them to Joe's house in Delaware after he gets the wall built!
@Exterminatore He wants them here so badly, let HIM deal with them!! FUCK that old reprobate!!
Agreed. Let him finance them out of his own pocket as well.
@Exterminatore Absolutely!!
Preserving the life of the unborn. The 2nd thing getting rid of Liz Cheney
Preserving the life of a non-viable fetus while rising the life of the mother.
Banned the scrambling out the body parts of babies.
Banned the scrambling of dead baby parts so the mother can instead eject it into the toilet, risking a detached uterus and dying of blood loss.
www.youtube.com/watch
UH, OH!! Somebody's got a serious case of TDS!!
You better do SOMETHING to get that monkey off your back!! I KNOW it's a HARD HABIT to break but if you seek intervention, they cam help you pull through! Have you tried calling Trump-anon?
Banned murdering unborn babies. Amd proven how hypocritical and racist sjws are. Naturally, any negative words that can be used to describe a black member of SCOTUS are just as acceptable to use to describe leftists, unless of course that any wish for equality uttered by them were based on a false premise
To be fair to the person disliking my comment, perhaps its more fair to use negative words against black leftists than black SCOTUS members. I own up to that "just as" could hsve earned me the dislike.
"Murdering unborn babies". 😄
By using the christian extremists definition of what is an "unborn baby":
Every time a man ejaculates, he "kills" 100,000,000 "human beings". 99,999,999 if the woman gets pregnant.
A woman will "kill" 300 to 400 "human beings" during her lifetime, just by having her period.
Explain that genocide to your idiot god.
Its not a baby that early. At that point, its still just a seed.
And I'm not reiligious, one don't need religion to be against abortions.
Alright, then we can discard the idea of god creepingly watching couples have sex, waiting for the right time to inject a soul into the fresh zygote to cheat the evil abortionist.
But since sperm and egg are just "seed", (i. e. insignificant cells waiting for their chance to become something more complex), what is an embryo? Is it a fully-formed human "baby" with feelings and emotions, ready to take on the world? Or is it not much more than a growing patch of cells?
Abortion isn't the "murder of an unborn baby". Most abortions take place before 9 weeks. Before 9 weeks, it's not even a fetus yet. At the 9 weeks milestone, the brain, heart and other organs are just starting to develop and are only capable of minimal operation.
In any case, the answer doesn't really matter, because abortion is a choice that women have the right to make... and it's fair. Accept it. We just plant the seed and that's it. Our job is done, whether we stand by our pregnant partner or not.
What's immoral is bringing an unwanted child into this world: not interrupting the development of a mass of cell, that, many weeks after that, will eventually, slowly, transform into a baby ready to be born.
A woman carry the would-be child, give birth and eventually take care of the vital needs of a newborn baby: it transforms her life forever. If the child is wanted, it will change her life for the better and her child will benefit from her motherly love. If the child is not, it will make both her and, incidently, the child's life, a living hell.
That's why old republican farts, pro-lifers and moronic church people need to shut the fuck up, shove their inconsequent morals far up their asses and mind their own god damned business.
rebel and object against...
- China Puppet Aka Joe Biden
- Bad Economy
- Inflation
- High Gas Price
- Letting Men Compete In Women Sports
and anything that prevents America to be great again
The Republicans are disgusting and pathetic. I guess the best thing they've done is get rid of Madison Cawthorn in the primaries.
Where is the "all of the above & add more to the list" button? Because it's hard to choose just one.
Provided endless cringe material to ridicule, and landed many of their fervent followers in jail.
For doing what?
Nothing good about this current brand of Republican... literally nothing
There isn't a band of republicans at all. There are lots of different factions and interest groups doing different things among the States. The best ones are pulling away from Washington D. C. and working to practically build a new system of decentralized power. The worse ones are acting like democrats, and the 2nd worse ones are sitting in D. C. taking bribes like Mitch.
@monorprise if you look at it that way, then I would say that I agree there are no "Republicans" based on the fact that those would traditionally be conservatives, and that's not what these are to be sure.
I also agree that the McConnells of the world sit up there obstructing any policy helpful to actual people. The only legislation they are interested in is subsidies for corporations and servicing their donors. Which also happens to describe a goodly amount of Democrats.
What I can tell you sitting here in Texas is that Greg Abbott's policies and those of state leadership are quite destructive to those below a certain income level and also pander to the corporate interest.
The people have precious little voice left in their own governance, state or national level and I honestly find what appears to be a desire on the part of some to move to authoritarian rule and absolutely silence the voices of voters "unlikely to vote for them" more than alarming.
@Ill_made_Knight A conservative is not a liberal, whatever they believe that is conservative has to be based in the history of their country or state. Everything else is just a novel idea, separate from conservative believes.
There are few if any laws passed by congress which would actually help the American people. That list exists no further than forign policy issues and repealing their uniformly Unauthorized war on the rights of all Americans. Thus far Congress has been failing miserably in both areas as illustrated by the wars they are losing, both overseas and on our own border, the currency they are debasing, and the money they are wasting for the goods and services via corrupt mismanagement.
Their domestic war upon the American people to include everything from their oppressive secrete polices raids on their political enemies to preventing us from caring out an almost infinite range of intrastate economic, religious, and cultural activities that would otherwise enhance our lives.
Regarding Texas which I know well, your claims about its State government is rather delusionally out of touch with the comparative life offered by many if not most other states.
The fact that you yourself have choose to live there is further evident of that fact when claim you have "Far better options" to choose form.
Texas is doing very well particularity for its poor and middle class, unlike states like California or New York who are entrapping in poverty with an almost unbridgeable gap and actually forcing them to flee to places like Texas.
@monorprise I was born in Texas some 60 years ago and have lived in multiple other places and another country and returned due to family. One person's idea of what is good and the proper way to approach achieving that can be substantially different... no need in calling anyone delusional. That's more than alittle insulting in my opinion.
We can agree to disagree.
@Ill_made_Knight I too have lived in many states including Texas, for which my ties are hardly any less strong.
I know what the rest of the federation is like and I know why soo many have been moving to Texas a state that is hardly matched in growing prosperity particularly among the 'poor'.
If your family agrees with you perhaps you should investigate why they are still living in Texas a state that you claim is soo undesirable compared to all others.
For most people including my family it is because Texas offers among the best quality of life anywhere in these united States. Reasonable housing, food, and energy costs, and a great relative abundance of well paying jobs.
Lets be honest few people move to Texas because of the weather.
The State government and its steady small government approach is the main reason for this. We know this is true by comparative analyses with other states who differ and share various polices with various similar results.
@monorprise I am with them. They are all on fixed incomes. I have investigated and experienced over the last two years the chamges that Texas has made in it;s laws since I left. If I were a young man with the energy to start anew I MIGHT feel differently, but I assure you that Texas is a cruel and ugly place for people in certain circumstances. Republicans have been building a society that encouraces the elderly to wither and die quickly for YEARS,,,,
Good day
MInd you NONE of us has been what those peole are so fond of referring to as "freeloaders"
We have all worked very hard our entire lives, but are the kind that they want to throw away because they are no longer "profitable"
@Ill_made_Knight You will have to be more spesfic I know many people your age and older in Texas including some who have moved there because of the laws.
I know of nothing cruel, beyond the wreak-less Federal spending induced inflation that has crippled a great many elderly and poor across this country.
@monorprise I do... now let it drop... we are different and I can absolutely guarantee you will not change my views or tell you that I agree with the things those people are doing. As far as I am concerned they are fascists... so let it go. Like I said up above I'm perfectly fine with agreeing to disagree... enough...
@Ill_made_Knight
Why do you call people you've never met with whom you disagree national socialist?
Most of the people i know would quite disagree with that categorization, in fact they rather dislike any kind of big government in general including national socialism.
But you throw around that label as if it had a completely different meaning, one quite like life in much of America and all of it not so long ago.
They haven't really done anything at the Federal level, At the State level the best thing they have done is voted to stop coopering with the enforcement any Federal Gun law.
The best thing they've done this year... not be in power.
Sent miss piggy and almost all the rest of her cohorts packing in the primaries.
They got Roe V Wade repealed. Voted liz cheny out of politics.
They didn't do that this year. That was the court
Pretty sure it was a Democrat who created the 10-year old rape victim.
Whoever posted this, you gave me a VERY pleasant surprise lol
There is nothing they did good since 2020. except being shamed into voting the bill in for veterans health.
More people hate Republicans now. Republicans do not fix real issues just whine on useless cultural wars
Why would more people hate the party unable to do anything to them?
@goaded We can debate the constitutionally and value of those federal acts, but Republicans are not in a position to block anything at all in Washington D. C. ...
By contrast where Republicans are in control in various states they done a great many things making those states among the most successful in these united States.
@goaded Do not democrats hold a majority in the house and an effective majority in the senate as well as the presidency?
Your not entitled to have republicans and even all democrats to agree your proposals are both constitutional and helpful.
Indeed its rather self-evident by the history of such ideas having been tried before in this country or others around the world that they would in fact do far more harm than good.
But even if they were good for some parts perhaps even those sections represented by a majority and not for others that does not make it good Federal policy when it would be better state policy as to get the benefits where it helps and avoid it where it does not.
The congressional system is designed not NOT pass laws most of the time on most issues so that that such issues can be handled elsewhere. The only place it fails is in not automatically repealing said laws.
@goaded Almost all domestic spending and law making by the Federal Government is by default unconstitutional. No congressman should ever vote for it no matter how much they agree with the policy. That alone is justification for refusing.
The fact that they don't agree with the merits of the policy as advantageous to their state and constituency is anther justification.
In a congressional system leaders are not elected to "rule" as in a parliamentary system but rather to decide what if any laws are both advantageous and necessary for your constituency.
As for the filibuster that is simply raising the bar regarding how much of the union must be on board with a particular policy being imposed at the federal level.
I remind you with the exception of dealing with select forign objects, and Federal currency policy, you should not need agreement from congress to do anything at all.
Indeed there is a great deal of action being taking place at the State level with a variety of results both good and negative for their states.
@goaded Depending on how you count them there are about 35 or less enumerated powers in the 11 page Federal constitution.
Theses are the "Few and defined" powers of the federal government the rest of the constitutions and frankly many of theses powers is about defining and maintaining the Government.
Of the the practical enumerated powers of said government they are mostly all about addressing objects of a forign nature.
@goaded There are 2 categories of dept, those assumed by congress for Constitutionally authorized proposes and those assumed by congress regardless of the constitutionally authorized reason.
Like many criminals Congress has mixed the money together as to make it difficult to distinwish from where came what dept.
Nonetheless their original spending for the unauthorized proposes remain criminal.
@goaded Congress can pass laws to spend money only on the enumerated powers.
To assume they have any broader spending power to is to make the enumeration of powers they were given pointless.
It is also the the opposite of what was sold to We the people and our States as "A Government of Few and defined" powers of a forign nature.
Voting against the porked up veteran bill.
If dems really cared about veterans, they wouldn't pork up the bill in times of high inflation.
@goaded Are you sure?
www.congress.gov/.../amendments

Really sure?
I'm sure that was the extent of the changes between the 84-11 vote in June and the final 86-11 vote in August. In the mean time, 29 Republicans changed their minds about whether it was a good bill and celebrated blocking it.
This is what finally became law:
www.congress.gov/.../text
Tell me, what got changed between June and August?
@goaded Well, there was a gentleman's argument that they would allow amending the pork off.
Went to the house, deal was broken and went back to the senate, deal is off.
Until, of course, your porkers decided to fold and unpork the bill.
And now, after cutting a shit ton of stuff (have you seen the list of amendments?) and rephrase others, it's going to pedo peter's desk.
You're lying. There was no such "gentleman's agreement", the final modification was a minor technical detail on the June version that got 84 votes in the Senate, and they ended up voting for the bill in the end because it was a good bill that they blocked out of spite. It is now law.
After a few what? What changed between June, when just 14 Republicans voted against the bill, and July, when 41 did? One line was removed.
(Nothing at all changed in the bill between July and August, when 86 Senators finally voted to pass it, all 11 votes against were Republicans, naturally.)
www.senate.gov/.../vote_117_2_00230.htm 84-14
www.senate.gov/.../vote_117_2_00279.htm 48-47
www.senate.gov/.../vote_117_2_00280.htm 86-11
Sorry, the July vote was this one:
www.senate.gov/.../vote_117_2_00272.htm 55-42
No you didn't. And the spending was already mandatory back in June, when the vote was 84-14 and most Republican senators voted for it, and nothing but the line I quoted changed between June and July, when Republicans blocked its passage, and nothing at all changed between July and August's final vote of 86-11.
But carry on pretending that there was any reason associated with the bill for blocking it in July.
@goaded As I said, there was a gentleman's agreement that the pork would be allowed out.
it wasn't, and it was thrown back to the senate.
I said before.
Now it's clean. Bitch more, next time you guys won't resist reason so much when you try pulling a trick like this.
Now, I want you to imagine your worst fear made manifest in 2023, the 15th amendment, that makes all bills voted single issue and short. This bill was only porked through accounting tricks, imagine never being able to force a thousands of pages bill?
You can re-tell the lie as often as you like, it doesn't make it true. The majority of Republicans voted for the bill once, against it once, then for it again, and the only difference between the two versions (made between the first and second of those votes) was the one line I quoted, which was removed.
"Not a taxable benefit. A contract buy-out for a covered health care professional under subsection (a) shall not be considered a taxable benefit or event for the covered health care professional" That's what you call adding pork, is it?
You "know" that, but you didn't even know it has been law for two weeks? Right. No, it's mandatory. There was no change in the bill between Republicans blocking it and 86 senators passing it once they'd backed down. The spending was always mandatory, even in June, when 84 senators voted for it.
@goaded But there was a point to all of that, which is common with all these stories.
Like the mom who gave her daughter to her boyfriend and then went to get an abortion off state in order to avoid investigation, even though that abortion was completely legal.
You got the compromise, you act like you don't, and you end up surprised why the narrative doesn't stick.
Trying to change the subject again? No, the point is you lied in your opinion, and many, many times in this conversation. You not only lied about non-existant "pork", you lied about how the bill was changed, and pretended to be completely ignorant of the fact that it passed into law some time ago, even after I told you. You could have looked it up, but you chose to lie about it again. It's really quite simple: you're lying.
OMG, you're still lying about the bill? It's been law since the 10th, more than a week before your initial lie. It didn't change a word between July and August, and one sentence was taken out between June and July, so nobody added anything to it, let alone billions in "pork" since many Republicans amazingly voted with Democrats in the Senate, 84-11 in June, and you're praising them for voting against it in July out of spite.
08/10/2022 Became Public Law No: 117-168.
08/10/2022 Signed by President.
08/09/2022 Presented to President.

What were they, then? You know how their website works: www.congress.gov/.../amendments
I think you spent so much time in your echo chamber it made you deaf.
Nothing yet, the midterms will put an end to Biden’s bullshit.
What bullshit
@blissinanarchy1 aw kiddo. Almost all of Trump’s picks have won their primaries.
Of course. He tells his cult to do something, they do it. He’s a narcissistic ass conman. People with fear of change vote for him, he validates their feelings, they hop on his dick.
@blissinanarchy1 lmao. Whatever you need to tell yourself to feel better when you tards lose.
Us retards. It’s funny as fuck, you and your party have a sole disregard for truth. You see truth, you chalk it up to left winged biased media. You’re a party of white supremacists, of selfish assholes. And you see no problem.
@blissinanarchy1 wait, you just sat through 8 months of a president blaming Russia for inflation and you want to talk about truth? Lmao.
And what do you blame it on?
@blissinanarchy1 the only cause of inflation is government printing money.
Money isn’t worth jack shit domestically. We have a finite amount of gold. The currency we use in international trade is actually worth the gold. The money we use in the country is worth “trust.” You “trust” that 20$ can buy you 20$ worth of goods or services. And it can. So, for companies that are raising prices because they’re running low on supplies, why are they making record breaking profits?
@blissinanarchy1 Companies are raising prices because the dollar is worth less. It’s amazing to me that someone who is seemingly an adult doesn’t understand simple economic concepts.
And if the dollar is worth less than the raised prices wouldn’t yield such record breaking profits.
@blissinanarchy1 The number of dollars in profit doesn’t relate to it’s purchasing power. Jesus. I could give you your annual salary in VEF. You’d have over $7 million of them.
just a little reminder...
I used to get worried around here during the election because everybody was pro trust. Y’all racist trump supporters got me worried 😆
They have dug an even bigger hole for themselves.
The hole is for you.
these are not real news sources, please learn to consume news
Theyve nothing and then blamed Democrats for intransigence. Brilliant.
I like the way they stuck it to those mooching war veterans!
Our meme existance is the best thing. We’re slowing the moral decay of society
By electing a guy who cheats on his first wife with his second wife, second wife with his third wife, and third wife with two porn stars, walks in on beauty pageant changing rooms, has over 20 open sexual misconduct lawsuits, and used to hang with Jeffrey Epstein?
None of that is proven
Ask trump’s ex lawyer about paying off porn stars.
Fake news! You lie!
Yeah, that's SO MUCH worse than the shit Joe's done!!
Yeah the thing is I don't care about none of those things.
And I might be a one issue voter
Not been anon. Should have typed the same for your dem question.. Oh wait, I just did!
It might be possible you aren't revealing the complete picture here lol
They are powerless so nothing. Democrats have half destroyed America
Not a single valid news outlet in your list. No wonder you are so consumed by hatred.
1. Not speak up against liberal Democrats embezzling your tax money!
2. Not hold trails against the Democrats like they're doing to Trump!
If you think the Democrats are really going after their billionaire donors, or really going to help out veterans, the I have cheap property for sale you on Uranus.
I guess the best thing they did is grow older.
Not being deranged Democrats
Sure. WE’RE deranged.
@blissinanarchy1 Your party can’t define what a woman is and you believe someone with a cock can give birth. If that’s not derangement I don’t know what is.
@Agagagagaga Me personally? No, gender dysphoria is a mental illness. Your party doesn’t accept accountability for shit.
@blissinanarchy1 Accountability for what? 🤣
We had the Muller Report. Ukraine gate. The Russia gate Hoax. 2 impeachments. And Jan. 6 Commission.
You’d think if there were something to be held accountable for it would’ve been found by now. I mean it’s only been 5 years of investigation after investigation.
But none of it is politically motivated. No sir.
Take Rachel Maddow’s dick out of your mouth and stop believing their propaganda.
@Agagagagaga Lol take Trump’s orange cock out your mouth and wipe your ass bitch. All you do is wine about something you do, then come up with a counter conspiracy theory. Trump makes comments about being able to go to young girl’s pageant’s dressing room while they’re half naked. He talks about grabbing pussy nonconsensually. He said laziness is a trait among blacks. There was evidence of Russian interference for trump to win. What do you’s do? Make a theory Joe was an implant by china. You cocksuckers can’t drop your balls, man up, admit you fucked up, and grow. You support a raping con man.
@blissinanarchy1 I didn’t even vote for the man. Try again shitstain. I just hate Lefties and think you’re a plague on the world.
Again. If there were something to be accountable for it would have been found already. God knows you little bastards try.
@Agagagagaga We’re the plague of the world for acknowledging and standing up to your nazi views. You can’t let people be people. Black man fuck your wife or something?
@blissinanarchy1 Of course you are. What Nazi views? The Nazis were a political party in Germany from 80 years ago.
But yeah, go punch a Nazi lol. Fucking dolts. And if it’s not Nazis it’s the RuSsIaNs!!! Or it’s White people. Take your fucking pick 🙄😆 You people jump from one boogeyman to another, one stupid cause after another, like people change hats. Going around telling everyone how racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic/nationalistic/religious/stupid they are.
No wonder people don’t like you. All you do is just call people out for shit, and even when there is nothing to call out you invent shit. I’ve voted Democrat longer than you’ve been alive! But I don’t anymore. I guess I was always just a racist, huh? 🙄
@Agagagagaga The Nazis are still well alive and strong today, they even have an American party. Yes, we call people out. You genuinely just stupid or think the racist shit or homophobic shit you say isn’t racist or bigoted? It doesn’t effect you so why not leave them the fuck alone? We don’t believe it’s all the White Man’s fault. We acknowledge there’s shit minorities can do amongst themselves. But stupid fucks like you either don’t realize or don’t care that after being enslaved, or segregated against, with resources mainly going to rich white neighborhoods, and barely to go into black neighborhoods (Not as bad today as it was until the 60’s!), that they can’t instantly spring back. The damage THEY caused continues, and until it’s fixed the cycle won’t be over. So keep bitching about Black Colleges when you weren’t held down by an entire race
@blissinanarchy1: I‘m Jewish and descended from Holocaust survivors. The Democratic Party is the one that resembles the Nazis and other totalitarians. But you won’t realize that until it’s too late.
Democratic Party resembles the Nazis? Enlighten me. How.
Stirrer. lol 😎
I see what you've done here.
They aroused Russia to go to war so America could sell their oil to Europe.
WHAT oil? Joe's not only begging the middle east for oil, he just gave away most of or reserves to China!
@FunkyMonkee you know America don’t need middle eastern oil. They now producing and number 1 exporter in the world. .
Is that why Joe was begging last month?
Trump has stolen nothing.
Take that claim up with the head of the FBI who is a Trump appointee. 27 boxes of documents he should not have had & Russia is boasting about seeing our classified documents.
@Dazed and Confused Another TDS sufferer. They were declassified by him and belonged to him. He offered them to the Presidential Archives to pick them up earlier this year but they chose not to, likely because of this set up. Nothing will happen here, no matter how much you want it to.
The FBI is totally corrupt and have done nothing but try to sabotage him for years. The good thing is that once he (or DeSantis) is elected, they will close down the FBI, turn it over to the US Marshall service and close the DOJ as well. Don't forget to vote on November 9.
This is hate-speech against republicans lol 😂
Clickbait for Republicans
These answers seem just a tiny bit biased to me…
Vote out War criminal Liz Chaney.
all of the above. MAGA seeth loser whore
None of those were the best thing.
