Do you agree sometimes you need to be cruel to be kind?

In Nick Lowe's 1979 pop-rock hit "Cruel To Be Kind," the song describes a toxic, confusing relationship where a partner uses the famous phrase as a poor excuse for emotional abuse, gaslighting, and mistreatment under the guise of "tough love".

What is your opinion?

I mean intentional lies, knowing something is false but said it anyway.

Some people always lie out of control. Some lie for sensation like news company and youtube titles.

Some lie in certain situations but not out of control.

some got "fact checked" by people asking a. i. that "can make mistakes" so not really a basis to claim trump lied. Also We have a few levels. When my parents said they caught me lying she said "liar" that described the person. Only i know she was wrong twice. not one lie nor liar. But bad parents have authority.

So next time i answered the phone and mom said "say i am not home" i said "she is here, see i am not a liar but you are".

Sometimes people make exceptions to lie but others lie all the time so which do you believe?

Men are LOGICAL, it's what rules men's lives.

He got one girl pregnant and wanted her to get abortion. He forced oral sex on one 14 year old and she nicked him with her teeth and he slapped her and then another girl took over. He was quoted as saying pregnant girls don't make money but maybe we can sell the baby because her mother has good genes and looks. These stories come from FBI files folks. So, why won't anyone really investigate and get justice for these kids abused?

It's 2356 ad and the people of that era have been telling and retelling stories about your life like you were some kind of legend to them. Maybe they even give you a title like '_____ the Brave' or '_____ the Great.' How would you feel?

Do y'all notice how many "pick me's" there are online―people who feel like it is their right to have people pay attention to them―who will post just the most inane, insufferable sh*t, just to get noticed? Posting crimes, posting GRWM (Get Ready With Me), posting themselves sitting in a car while drinking a Starbucks Frappucino or doing something else other than just sitting silence, and its all just window dressing to go on a tirade over for some stupid bullsh*t that they did or said or some other self-inflicted drama.

How often do you wonder to yourself, "yo, WTF was that? What did I just watch? Why would you POST this?" Maybe you have grievances (valid ones), but you have too much self-respect to make your issues everyone else's problem as well and call attention to yourself. So, when you see these mind-numbing rants and egregiously bad attention-seeking behaviors being rewarded, you are left in utter disbelief that supposedly "grown adults" unabashedly act this way. They're proud of it. It's not shameful, it's triumphant

I think there are pros and cons to diversity. Diversity gives you different perspectives on things, which is good. On the other hand, diversity leads to more conflict between the different groups. Japan isn't a very diverse society and it is doing just fine.
