I agree that applies to low to average intelligence people. It doesn't apply to every single person, but generally applies. For people of above average intelligence, they tend to be more a blend of logical and emotional.

I think that men are practical first, logical second and completely off the map when we get emotional.

Women can be emotional, logical and practical at the same time.

It's not that women can't think logically. They (I think) have more powerful emotions that sometimes override their common sense and lower their impulse control. Men are the opposite. We are trained from birth to suppress and control our emotions and use logic to dictate our actions. Most of the time. But we have anger and jealousy that can override our default logic and can trigger irrational behavior detached from reality. We all have moments where emotion drives stupidity.
