Are women into men what are very fit or just not out of shape?

From what I can see, people often complain a lot about perfect main characters who never lose, and probably rightfully so as it generally takes away a sense of urgency from the story and doesn't leave much room for growth or character development. But what about a main character who is the opposite extreme? One who is really pathetic and who never wins no matter what?

A perfect main character might be more badass to watch and all, but a lot of people find more pathetic main characters to be more relatable to them, since a lot of people are more affiliated with losing all the time rather than winning all the time.

I won't name any specific examples of either as people probably are gonna go "oh no that character actually isn't perfect they screwed up a few times" or "that character has a few wins, so they don't lose all the time" blah blah blah... and so on and so forth.

I personally would go with the perfect main character... yes, the pathetic main character may be more relatable, but in general I already have a lot of anxiety in my real life, so for my entertainment I want something light and easy to watch that doesn't give me anxiety, lol. I wanna go into the adventure knowing everything works out alright by the end. Unlike how things work out in real life. 😣

To say there is no problem with heavy drugs in America and most of Europe would be a denial of reality. You have fentanyl killing a record high number of Americans and in decriminalized areas like The Netherlands you see the degragading effects on society with homelessness and needles laying around the parks and on the streets. You also see this on the west coast and other places in America.

Then you have places like Singapore where the drug problem seems relatively controlled if you're willing to stomach it when it's your loved one who gets the long sentence or hanged if they happen to be caught drug smuggling. Seems like many of the ones who end up being executed are people from the west and from the perspective of the native of these countries the harsh penalties are not so difficult to bare, especially when the lawbreakers come to your country and add to the problem for residents to bare when the punishments are well known to those willing to risk it. No amount of money could possibly be worth dying over. A person might find these penalties to be distasteful or even amoral, admittedly while I do not fall into this camp I at least have sympathy towards that way of thinking.

Well these people might say that penalties and the payoff are rarely considered by the people who end up being caught, at least not before the crime is committed. They'd argue other reasons find them in this nightmarish situation of being caught and finding yourself facing a death sentence for doing something that in the west might not result in more jail time than a year with a good attorney. Or possibly none at all.

It almost seems too fantastical to imagine a livable place where people are allowed the freedom to decide whether to do or not do the drugs in a society where people practice a true form of freedom. Consequences for using such things would be the effects of the drugs themselves which can far outweigh any other considerations.

My POV. If I (or any colleagues) declared anything even close to this in our classes it would be game over. Permanently. The rest of the year would be a BATTLE for recovery and control.

If an overweight person makes fun of their own weight and a skinny person gets offended, is it justified for the overweight person to be offended over the skinny person feeling the need to be offended.

ok so I think I said this before in my old account but when I was a kid my mom used to run a side hustle selling women’s underwear and lingerie. Since we didn’t have a storefront, she’d either sell at home or go to customers’ places, and I’d tag along to help carry the merchandise.

obviously clients were always women, mostly in their 20s and older. I vividly remember how they’d casually strip down to try on bras and panties, asking each other stuff like, “Does this fit? does it make my boobs perkier? does it make my ass look bigger? you Think my man would like it?” and rarely cared that I was there; others might point it out, but they’d brush it off, saying things like, “He’s just a kid; it’s fine,” or even tell me directly, “is ok honey, you don’t need to look away.”

anyways unlike the typical American, I didn’t grow up feeling weird about nudity. But now as an adult, thinking back, it’s got me questioning. Its like now those moments feel connected to the way modern feminists sometimes use public nudity as a form of “empowerment.” Whether it’s women in protests today stripping down for attention or those in the 60s burning bras, there’s this pattern of framing nudity as liberation.

Looking back, I wonder since my mom’s customers did not see me as a threat that they probably were using my presence to feem empowered themselves Consciously or not, since they might’ve been feeding off the idea of being seen but thought there werent gonna be any consequences since I was a kid. its like the dots are suddenly connecting now.

Was the entire exercise a lesson in labor, basic shapes & math for them? Family economics & budget? Did they / you push for new carpet or furniture too? Did they / you cut a deal for the privilege?

Oh, and this: Why aren't ALL plugs FOR EVERYTHING flat / flush so you can put furniture against a god-damned wall? WHY? Any electricians here?
