Is it a bad idea to go into business with a stranger?

Lets say you have the greatest business idea but no funding, but this person has all the funding and business connections but you don't know them too well. Would you still sign a contract 50/50 with them? or would you wait to make your own money to fund it

I'd go into a partnership and have them pay for everything

I would do everything on my own in due time and keep 100% of my company

Things such as NDA’s and having people sign things where they can’t speak about your product ideas, before you reveal them are extremely important if you believe in them that much.

I suggest putting your nose to the grindstone and begin doing lots of research via YouTube or the internet or even a library when it comes to ownership rights based on your ideas etc…

total stranger is risky, if there is no other choice it's better to join entrepreneur club in your area... then everyone will know with whom you paired up and it will be harder to this person to act against you without harming their image...

That would be risky, but it depends heavily on the specific circumstances and how you mitigate those risks.
