With social media like instagram. You’re never going to feel rich, pretty, handsome, tall enough. There’s always just too many people with more. It’s quite overwhelming how our society has become so depressing.

People are conscious to it but subconsciously they believe it all, like women expect all these unrealistic things. You see from what they like. I think it also makes a lot of men out there want to give up on playing a game you can’t win.

People want the rare thing, rare for a woman used to be like 1in20 guys, now it’s like 1in2000 guys because of all this abundance of people. 2/3 men are single 18-30.

On one hand it has helped motivate me a lot to keep moving forward.

Yeah, that's how our legal system works, but what's the actual logic behind it? What specifically is it that makes "Innocent until proven guilty" correct?

I stand by my argument, and one of my professors in college made the same argument. "Innocent until proven guilty" just doesn't make any sense. And is it, really? Take that guy who stabbed those people in Idaho. He didn't even have a trial and the police and media were already saying the guy did it. So how is that "Innocent until proven guilty"?

It's Guilty unless proven Innocent. If you believe it's "Innocent unless proven guilty" prove me wrong.

Also, just because someone is found "innocent" doesn't mean they didn't do it. It just means they had a good lawyer.

Likewise, how many people were found guilty who were actually innocent?

And I'm only talking about the US here. I'm not talking about corrupt countries where police will lock up a random person just so they don't look bad.

Or only when you've been served at a table or bar?

Personally, I've gotten into the habit of tipping a dollar just to cover myself from feeling like I've done the wrong thing, and occasionally sometimes skipping a tip even on to-go orders will net me more cold treatment if I return. I'd always thought "well, I'm just buying the food, not getting served so..."

And if you're in a country without tipped food service workers, your opinion still counts.

Thanksgiving is a time when Indians (Natives) and religious escapees from Europe (Protestant Europeans) came together in the new world... to eat... as they had survived and apparently decided, it was better to make peace. A Noble idea!

Eating is the way to make peace in case you don't know. Everyone likes to eat and it can create bonding and happiness... as long as the food tastes good.

But this year, the politics have shall we say... may have...ruffled some feathers? Political nerves may be exposed with just a simple quip of the lip. Some may choose to celebrate alone, volunteer or be with others of similar political views, not necessarily family. I wonder...
