Think about it: the number of votes cast doubles (which is a massive difference), yet the vote shares of political parties remain the same. There is no real change in party platforms or campaign messaging. In other words, women vote for the same candidate their husbands support. It is certainly a step forward for democracy, but not a revolution; it could be compared to an indirect electoral system.

If we are going to talk about what a revolution actually is, then a better example would be the extension of voting rights to the working class in Britain in the 1860s. A large mass of people enters politics and, through its struggle, turns the established order upside down. Political parties are forced to adjust their promises and programs. Likewise, the enfranchisement of Black Americans can also be cited as an example.

If women had only gained the right to vote today, then we could probably call it a revolution, considering that they make up the core of the SJW movement.

Be honest. I like certain aspects of mine. I like the independence/ solitude of being on the road most of the day and the money is good, but I feel like I'm overworked, and management could be more supportive. I don't think the perfect job even exists. I think it's just fantasy

In the US, even if you've committed the most heinous crimes, you have the right to have the case against you heard by a grand jury of citizens to establish that a crime was committed, and you're possibly the perpetrator. Then, other than plea deals, there's a trial where a jury of your peers decide if you committed that crime.

There are similar systems in most democratic countries.

Unless, when you're arrested, you pose a significant threat to life, nobody gets to kill you. If they do, and you didn't, they've committed a crime.

For some reason, some people think that "rule of law" means anyone who doesn't immediately comply can be killed. They're wrong. And disgusting.

Larry the cat has been living with different Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street for the past 15 years since being given the Civil Service employment as Chief Mouser.

He's supported 6 Prime Ministers no matter what their political persuasion, and now he's on his 7th Prime Minister.

He's has welcomed Foreign Heads of State, and International Ambassadors, Government Ministers etc. been a loving pet to each new family, as well as doing his prime job of exterminating the rodents in the street.

With so many Prime Ministers resigning should it be time for Larry to resign too?
