I feel like there's no point in paying money for dating app when you could just go out and meet people. There is so much to do these days. Unless you utilize both a dating app and still go out maybe it's useful
I tried dating apps for several years when I was much younger. They are nothing more than a con. Half the profiles are bots, the other half are whores and cam girls. I think I got replies from like 10 people in ten years, and none of them were interested in me for superficial reasons or because they were an Atheist while I adamantly believe in God and will not date an Atheist.
Naturally, I give up. I couldn't care less if I meet anyone ever in my lifetime at this point. It's not worth worrying my nerves over it.
Cold approaching in person doesn't work either, because women call you a creep or falsely accuse you of a crime if you as much as say "hello".

it would really depend on the situation , like does the person have any credible dating options in real life , if the person does it might not be necessary to use a dating app unless there looking for something different maybe?
if the person has no options in real life then a dating app might be useful is developing some but it can still depend and the people who generate interest in real life and still mainly the same people who generate interest online, so they might still struggle to get matches and interest

Yes. You become one of a zillion in a silo of losers who are on EVERY app playing the same loser games.

Look , they used to be great and real , now just a waste of time , too many fakes , fraudsters , morons.
When they were real , probably prior to apps , not overrun by hookers , freelance and scammers they were great , I did really well out of them.
Two people very important to me , 22 years later via match. con and a big solid box..
Sad really = useless.
I think dating apps have a use, but that use is very skewed to short term relations now adays.
I am sure there are people who do find real connections, it is just more rare.
I agree meeting people in person is much more ideal. I think socially it also forces people to treat interactions more.. civily.
haven't tried them in... we'll... a decade or so. mostly a waste back then.
I'd join groups, clubs, church, activities, travel, get a job, flirt, go to school and meet people there, try rent a boyfriend. stuff like that.
Agreed: there's no point in paying.
But: isn't it rather for mostly pointless paticipants who make the entire thing... pointless?
Wasn't that always the case? I think apps can be useful but would never pay for one
Yes I'm sure they were much more popular in the 1940's and 1950's.
@Smileygirl2000 Waste of time and money
It depends on which app but some are useful
Yes, I believe so.
