I never had good luck with those dating sites. Online dating was much different at the beginning of the internet 25 years ago. Back then you'd just meet people in America Online chatrooms and if you lived close, you'd meet up for coffee or lunch. Then let it blossom from there if you hit it off. For me, the dating apps ruined it. I thought it was much better before those.
