Dating apps and dating sites can be good, if you make them good. I met my wife of 9 years on a dating site, and I know several married couples who also met that way.

Dating sites can also be bad, and a waste of time, if you don't take the time and effort.

Be honest about who you are and what you are looking for, and post honest pictures that emphasize your good points.

It really depends heavily on you. Some people its a no go, simply because those are heavily physical attraction first. Whereas in actual meeting people first would be best for some because you have a chance to showcase your personality beyond your looks. So you have a better chance.

But some people have found there future husbands and wives on dating apps so there is hope.

I personally am old school, so either way i dont like them. But thats just me

Nope, dating apps aren’t a waste time. Granted I’m a woman, so I heard it can be different for men based on data. I met my current boyfriend on Hinge and we’re celebrating our 2 year anniversary soon! Before him, I met lots of frogs and I also met some great guys, but they just weren’t for me.

Your ability to read the situation.
Your ability to read people.
Your delivery.

You won't learn those things on a dating app in a passive approach. And thinking you have great skills and you have it all figured out at age 20 when you are obviously failing is just delusional. You don't know how much you don't know. You can live in denial or work on your social skills.

Passively being the operative word. You probably won't get a date out of it, but maybe you'll get lucky. It's not a good way to get a girlfriend, but it does have a higher success rate than shows like Love Island, The Bachelorette, and other such shows.

Id say its depends on where you live. But mostly the people on there do not know how to interact. They also tend to be way more picky/critical than if you jut met someone in person

The people that are doing the scams are victims themselves. Many were human trafficked. One woman, a white woman I believe, didn’t make her quota and so they sold her organs. Here is an article about these places:

The woman I am referring to was from another article and happened recently. They had her using sex in a cyber scam. She likely didn’t want to do it. I think she went to Thailand and was trafficked over the border to Myanmar where this all occurs.
