  Men usually feel liberated and happy immediately after a relationship or they act happy and hide their feelings. Women deal with their emotions immediately and will start trying to recover as soon as possible. As time goes on, she's feeling better, but then reality hits the man like a train and he has to deal with the emotional pain, just a little delayed. I've seen it happen.
