Freesias - Symbolize innocence and friendship

Honeysuckles - A flower so sweet it attracts hummingbirds to it. This flower means "happiness". You can also eat it. If a girl/guy gives you them it means they are happy being with you

Iris are given for faith, valor or wisdom. So if a guy/girl gives you this flower they are asking you to trust them/saying indirectly they trust you.

Lillies mean sensitivity. So if a guy gives you this it means he thinks you are a nice person.

Jasmine (one of my fav flowers) means sweet love. So given as a token of love.

Orchids denote luxury, beauty and strength. If you are given this it can mean the person thinks you're pretty or strong.

Peonies mean good fortune - so ladies if a guy gives you these he is hoping to be successful in his proposal for a date or marriage.

Primrose means "can't live without you". Can’t say much except I hope I get these one day.

Roses (another fav) are given as a sign of love and passion. If a guy or a girl gives you this, it means he/she are declaring their love.

Sunflowers mean warmth and happiness. Could be given as a sign of adoration.

Statice is given for success. Usually might be given by a friend or if a guy/girl in a realtionship.

Stocks are given for lasting beauty. If a guy gives you this he is trying to say you will always remain beautiful to him.

Tulips (one of my fav flowers) is given as a declaration of everlasting love. So romantic <3

I absolute love tulips! They are my favourite flower. I never really new the meaning of it till now.

I'm actually growing tulips (in bulb form) so I'm excited! Tilll they bloom up, of course! 🙈🙊

I really enjoyed the post, but i couldn't help but notice something. Once i saw it, there was no unseeing it which was really disappointing. Some of the pictures you have up of the flowers are actually a different flower. The lillies are actually lotus blossoms, and the Jasmine Are actually plumeria flower. Sorry i don't mean to be a flower Nazi.

I have found that different flowers have the same name but as they grow in different places we role with it. Here are my additions to the image file. (could not see how to add an image so I have included a link)
