Well it depends if they are very close in terms of intimacy, my boyfriend has only seen me urinating once, it was not an awkward moment since we both had some guilt, but it was strange at the time, that time I went to the bathroom to urinate, I was wearing a romper so I had to undress in the bathroom, my boyfriend did not know that I was in the bathroom since he just arrived when I was in the bathroom, so he went to the bathroom door and opened it, he saw me while I was sitting on the toilet with my breasts in the air, it was an awkward moment but we did not take it with humor, it was both my fault for not locking the bathroom door, and his for not knocking or confirming that I was inside

Perfectly understandable. You need to look after your own safety first priority. I call that legitimate use of babychange / disabled toilets to have your own lock and have safety in numbers.
