What does it mean if a guy starts calling you pet names?

me and this guy have been talking this summer we text like everyday pretty much. and he calls me babe, baby, sweetheart, sweetie, boo so does that mean he's wanting to move up a notch or what? I call him pet names back :)

it just means he feels comfortable being around you as well as talking to you. You may find that both of you may open up to each other a lot more as both of you become more accustomed to each other.

Well let me ask, do girls call guys pet names as a sign of attraction or is it just nothing?

I personally don't use pet names much, when I do it's after she and I are in a serious relationship.
