Do guys wear promise rings?

My boyfriend wants to get me a promise ring should I get him one back? I want to because I love him and I want him to know I promise my love and to be faithful too. I also want him to have one so when he wears it other girls can see someone loves him too.

It depends on the guy. Some are confident enough to wear one and show their devotion. Not to say that guys who don't wear one aren't that way, they may just not want to draw that attention to themselves, or it's just not their thing. They may believe that faith is stronger than any piece of metal can show.

Of course, this is all coming from a female's perspective, and from one who's never had a guy do this for her, let alone wore any sort of ring for a guy, so yeah. You'll just have to take what I say with a grain of salt.

My boyfriend got me a promise ring and he wanted one too. He gets upset because girls keep asking him out and he wants everybody to know he's mine. He just will only wear a plain ring.

Most guys will probably not care much to wear a promise ring. I don't want to sound callous or anything like that, but I also fall into that camp. LOL. Then again, I can't stand jewelry to begin with anyway. I mean, I'll wear a plain, modest looking wedding ring for sure, but outside of that I'm pretty allergic to the idea of wearing accessories. I'd rather she bought me like a promise-chef's-knife or something like that. LOL

Some do. I sure as hell don't. I really don't understand promise rings. If you actually need something to remind you to be faithful and love a person, then that belief isn't that strong in the first place, imo. But, if he got you one, it seems reasonable to get him one.

My supervisor wears one from his fiancee.

One guy at our work makes fun of him, and says it's gay. Of the ones who've heard about it, though, consensus is that it's cute and sweet.

I wear a ring just not a promise to ring I suppose if it was that important to the girl I'm dating at the time. I could simply switch the ring to my left hand, people already mistake me for a married man anyway lol.
