Is it true that though rare, there are some tall (er) women who prefer shorter men... I can think of a few reasons this can happen, if it in fact does:
1. Opposites attract
2. Taller women can feel more dominant growing up vis-a-vis men
3. As a feminist statement
Of course, some tall (er) women may not care about height but i am talking about taller women who specifically search out shorter partners.
In the single case i have seen this, the woman was the dominant partner. In the few times i have been with one, i tended to feel more emasculate and passive, although it had its own joy (i liked it :o) )
