My boyfriend has a lock code on his phone. I just don't understand.What does that mean?

I mean, who puts a lock code on their phone? Seriously, everyone should have their phones available to random people to snoop through whenever they want. E-mails, contacts, messages, whatever. Lock codes mean if his phone gets stolen, the person can't access his information. That's pretty common nowadays.

Reject calls and texts are probably because they're not emergencies and he doesn't want to be rude to you.

Don't be suspicious because it can end up being your own worst enemy.

Most people have locks. I do and I'm not cheating I just lock it because if I don't I accidentally pocket dial people and call the laws. I ignore people while with my bf because I think its rude to have full conversations or text when you're with someone. Stop thinking so much into stuff

It may be that he's keeping something from you, but more than likely he's using it as a normal precaution. iPhones are the most often-stolen things in the United States, I've been told, and it makes sense.

I used a lock code for a while just because the designers were foolish and put a button on the front screen that could activate the phone (even though there was already another perfectly good button elsewhere) and I would accidentally call people when the phone pushed against my leg in my pocket. Eventually I got a flip-case for it.
