Boyfriend leaves his phone around me unlocked why?

Sooo I notice my boyfriend leaves his phone around me unlocked... when he leaves somewhere. It's cool that he trusts me I guess but I feel like it's a trap. He still has an app on his phone that I dont want on there even though he doesn't use it it's still on there... my sister says to go on his phone and delete it. But I think thatll just be the icing on the cake to him putting a password on his phone...

I think he trusts you and perhaps you’re looking too deep into it. Just be honest with him and talk to him about the app. Definitely don’t delete anything from his phone.

No I haven't asked why he still has it on his phone. Before he told me he hasn't paid much attention to it. He doesn't go on it. Personally I think he keeps it there to keep me on my toes or to keep me a little insecure I don't know
