What do these antizionist jews wish to achieve?

This 30 year-old PhD student at UCLA has drawn attention for his blatant disregard for his Jewish and Israeli heritage, instead aligning himself with anti-Zionist causes. I won't give out his name but he's made quite a lot of Jews angry. He was recently in one of the protests at UCLA.. He was arrested but later released.

Despite his background, he chooses to conceal his identity, opting to identify as Swedish or American (he has dual citizenship of Sweden and USA) while actively supporting movements that seek to undermine the legitimacy of Israel.

What's particularly troubling about this individual's stance is the betrayal of his own people and heritage. By actively participating in protests and aligning with groups that advocate for the destruction of Israel, he not only disregards the struggles and sacrifices of generations before him but also contributes to the demonization of the Jewish state.

His selective activism, focusing solely on causes that vilify Israel while ignoring other pressing issues within the Jewish community, underscores his betrayal of Zionist values and the broader Jewish collective. He repeats all information supplied by AlJazeeraa, Middle East Eye and Eye on Palestine and never shows the other side.

Moreover, his mother's apparent support for his anti-Zionist activities only deepens the sense of betrayal. His cousins are totally different.

Rather than fostering a sense of pride and connection to their heritage, they enable and even encourage actions that undermine the very existence of the Jewish homeland.

His activism is extremely selective as he only protests for cleaners and workers or Palestine. He doesn't care or protests about other genocide or injustices happening unless it has something to do with Kashmir, Palestine and Workers.

What do these kids think by achieving this?

... that they're American (or Swedish, or what have you) first and foremost, and only Jewish as a matter of faith? That adherence to lines of genetics, rather than shared culture, coupled with cultural isolationism and chauvinistic declarations of superiority, is exactly why pogroms keep happening against Jews in the first place? That morality shouldn't be optional, and that history SHOULD be learned from? That maybe, just maybe, we could try NOT treating one another horribly?

In Israel, you're not going to see peace with your neighbors; it's an unfortunate reality, and Israel's decision to finally stop Palestine's ability to threaten it is regrettable, but understandable. That is emphatically NOT the case in the US or Sweden. Here we have crazy ideas like "peaceful coexistence". If you were condemning people wanting to try them elsewhere as naive, that would be understandable, but you're not; you're calling this young man (whoever he is) a race traitor.

Defending Jewdom with rhetoric that wouldn't be out of place at a Klan rally. You need to stop and think about whether you're really managing to not be the bad guy here.

The nationalist ideology of Zionism doesn't represent Judaism any more than Nazism represented German people.

Religious Jews and even holocaust survivors reject Zionism. And anyone who knows anything and possesses any human shred of conscience condemns the rapacious behavior of Zionists and the actions of Israel's.

The people who support Israel have only heard Israeli propaganda. They should read some books by ethical Jews like Miko Peled, Ilan Pappe, and Norman Finkelstein.
