When I moved to my new school about 7 years ago she was in my class we weren't friends and we didn't get on (probably because she was loud and I was rather quiet), the few interactions we had were brief and weren't that friendly but we didn't hate each other or thought much of each other for that matter. We then moved up a school and she was never in any of my classes until this year.
Nowadays, she is still quite loud and confident but I've noticed she is a bit shy sometimes (namely when in front of a lot of people). People often say that she is quite masculine but I think that’s mainly because she is loud and playfully teases people sometimes. She seems aggressive but gets on with people (including teachers) quite well and is sometimes docile.
I’m not sure what she thinks of me now but I don't think she thinks anything because I not the attention catching type but she's referred to me a couple of times so she knows my name (which is more than I can say for some) and possibly remembers me.
Do you think this type of girl could go out with someone who is generally quiet/shy (well I know they can but I could use some specific opinions and experiences). If so, do you have any tips or ideas as to how to approach her ("Walk up and say hi" is stupid so don't suggest that).
Also it'd be nice to know if anybody got to know somebody they sort of knew when they were younger later in life and how that went.
