Well for me hugging is a huge deal bc I never do unless I'm into someone so it's very personal when I do. it involves way more of the body so I def choose hugging.

Kissing I think amplifies the hug - though I haven't kissed yet.

Hug over kissing but the combination should be excellent :-)

Although kisses are aeesome anyone can kiss you but it takes that special someone to make you feel protected in their arms and plus there are different hugs that only your S. O can give you like a reassuring hug, or an ily hug they r something special :)

As much as I love kissing, being hugged in my guy's strong arms kowing that I'm loved and protected by him brings him that much closer to my heart. Sometimes just being held or cuddling feels closer than kissing, which isn't too bad either. = }

It's not the act, it's the intention. Both will bring a couple closer if they feel love and affection and kindness for one another. Both will hurt or push you apart if one or both partners are cold or withdrawing genuine affection or not really mentally in the relationship.

Kiss when close already and happy brings even closer.

Kissing when distant and sad only pushes away further.

Hugging when warm and happy feels diminishing and potentially saddening.

Both. Kissing shows a more intimate appeal to others or even alone. Hugging brings more of a friendly comforting appeal. Kissing lets people know this is who you are with and hugging is just nice

I think it's the combination. Too much hugging makes me feel like his sister. Too much kissing can make me feel like he wants more. So I think love can be expressed through both.
