That's... odd. I wasn't aware any of the states had that low of an age thing. In any case, it's still illegal in the U. S., in all states, to film or photograph anyone under 18, regardless of age of consent. Which seems a bit ironic, but you can still get charged for child P*rnography *and*/or statutory rape if you film or photograph the act.

@Rawrzz well, you're 24. I'm 18. I've got a snowflake's chance in Hell at getting a woman that's 19 or older, dating down is my only option. So to me, dating a 16 y/o girl is not a bad thing. That's only 2 years younger and I could still "impress" her with my age.

@been_waiting I don't purposely seek out high school girls. The only girl I'm even talking with right now is 18 and in college like me. My point is that younger girls are much easier to impress than older ones, so as a guy "dating down" might be a good idea because older women aren't going to like you anyways. I don't exactly like dating younger or nescience of younger girls, my ex taught me that 2 years younger usually results in problems. Her immaturity and unrealistic expectations actually caused me a lot of stress. However, it's well known that women like older guys. If a girl takes me more seriously becuase I'm slightly older, than by all means I'll take that advantage. It's no different than using you accomplishments or confidence to capture interest. She still has to like you for yur personality and I still have to like her back.
