yes :(((( I felt awful. he asked me out and I said yes. He was super nice and I liked his personality a lot, but I wasn't physically attracted to him. He wasn't bad looking, I just didn't feel that way. But I liked him enough to date him. I think i felt that way because I was so confused. That was the first time a guy asked me out sooooooooo... I didn't know how to feel.

Of course. I have many times and often wonder,"omg what is wrong with me, I like him?" Lol. When we have a crush on someone and we aren't physically attracted to them, we probably find their personality to be why we like them. I've liked plenty of guys who aren't so attractive but their personalities made them attractive. Hope this helped. (:

Its a pretty standard option for women to mitigate the blow of rejecting men. I wouldn't really trust those guys that much though. They're only saying those things to you and being nice because they want to get in your pants. Its an attempt to be manipulative and a morally questionable way of going about things at best--in other words they don't actually value you as a person, rather they value their desire in you. They're a sad lot because they aren't genuine and they aren't getting anywhere.

Nope, you can't be bad for rejecting someone you don't like. There's no moral law saying you have to satisfy the wishes of every man. You have to go with whoever you find attractive and you can't let some bizarre sense of guilt lead you to accepting some guy you don't really like. In fact, I think being guilted into a relationship or sex is extremely morally disgusting because you're manipulating a person to do something they dont want to. I dont consider them bad guys, but rather questionable dudes who are only acting that way for a selfish desire to get laid. Its just not genuine at all. They certainly aren't good guys.

I guess it depends on how you define "crush."

For me, the answer would be no, with the caveat that I can be attracted to a very wide range of looks and types. Basically, physical attraction is a component, but I don't have strict rules that govern my attraction, and often times my physical attraction can really grow as I begin to like someone more and more.
