Can you be attracted to someone without liking them?

Can you be attracted to someone but not like them? I guess it can also be like:
Is a crush (attraction with no feelings) different than "liking someone"?

I guess when you are just attracted, you just like how they look and don't really have feelings but when you "like" someone you have feelings and want to be with that person romantically.

Yeah. I actually interpreted your question differently. I have a friend that seems to like me. I remember after we hadn't seen each other for a few weeks she kicked me under the table. When I looked up and smiled, she gave a big smile back and said "I missed you." She has also called me the sweetest guy she knows. And I feel like she secretly was commenting on my looks with her best friend (right in front of my face). I think it was positive. Anyway, she has been dating someone else for at least 2 years. So I think she is in the "I am attracted to you and I like you" but "I don't want to get romantic with you." I don't even know if this answers your question but I would say yes.

The thing is, this guy is CLEARLY attracted to me like he's always checking me out and has flirted etc... however, he does not talk to me much and he does not flirt anymore and kinda ignored me last time (but there was lots of tension) always says he does not like any girl at the moment

I would guess that maybe he clearly is "checking you out." He is romantically interested in you but doesn't feel that it would work out between you two. As a result, he doesn't want to pursue anything. I have another friend who I have occasionally flirted with, and I think she is a fantastic person! In a sense I have thought about dating her once or twice. Yet, when it comes down to things, unless she asks me out, I problably won't ask her out because I don't feel that things will work between us. Tension will form and our friendship will be destroyed. I know it is kind of selfish (or some other negative word) but that is just my gut feeling.

I think another thing that is weird is that I liked him a few years ago but it was unrequited love.
And yes I totally get you. It is better that way so you can keep your friendship.

Maybe during that time period when you stopped loving him he started to? Or as you said, maybe he just doesn't want to be with you romantically but he clearly is flirting with you. I have noticed more girls that are flirty with everyone then guys. But, there are definetly some guys that flirt a lot. Is he a flirty person in general?

Yeah but the main thing is, he is Allllwaaayyyys looking at me. I always catch him and his friends do it too and just all the signs of attraction are there but I get a bad feeling when I actually try to talk to him.

Some guys are shy and or are just inexperienced with asking girls out. I am an extremely outgoing person. Yet, when I asked one of my crushes out (this was the first time I had diliberatly asked someone out) I kind of came off as insecure and screwed up. If you have a crush on him then you could ask him. And or you could directly ask him if he likes you. (This is kind of risky but if you feel like there is a gap then you could go for it)

Sure. Look at Jeanine Pirro. She's 64 and still unbelievably hot. Yeah i think thats pretty much it! I can, however, dramatically differentiate between someone being attractive and someone being good looking. For example, what I find attractive isn't your usual "hot" or "good looking" guy. But im attracted to them. Most celeberties to me are good looking but jot attractive. To me Neymar is really attractibe, whereas he might not be good looking to some. Ya get me?
