Do Asian girls date Asian guys in NYC or just white guys?

I see all kinds of interracial couples sometimes. But nothing compares to the amount of white guys with Asian girls interracial couple in NYC. It's so abundant more than any other interracial coupling. I'm curious now I'm not saying they all date white guys but a lot of them do. I'm neither Asian nor white. I'm actually latino and have noticed this since I travel throughout city everyday. Why do you Asian girls like white guys so much?

Because of America's history of glorifying the males (who were predominantly white American) who killled and oppressed other cultures and perpetuated a image or heroicness around the world by dominating media with money and do it until today as...

People world wide believe that white men symbolize wealth and positivity. Automaticaly, its whats been fed to them since they were younger ( ex: Super heroes.). Take Renaissance art used in churches in early Italy. Renaissance was used to manipulate the poor in Italy to pray and give money to the churches rather than make there own funding. Think of American media in it's place.

So like Jesus, woman who may be more simple and bent on fitting in, money, might go after white guys more often than not because the image perpetuates those things useful in a mate already.

This being said., many koreans for example mimic American culture and get surgery to get more American features (double eyelids, and straight pointed noses).

This was probably to real of a answer but there's a reason why people are the way the are. Also, NYC has so many Koreans and they really imitate and integrate American Culture into there own so people may be warmer to a American (White) than a none white person because they are effected too by American Media. They know most American shows and learn English very young. Many Koreans have plastic surgery at my school compared to other ethnicity of students and I believe that there is a large population of Koreans here in New York so it may be a fitting example.

Hopefully it wasn't too real or anything but it is a current issue. Its like the recent #OscarsSoWhite thing happening on Twitter right now

I can't speak for others but I don't have a preference to white guys. Then again I don't live in America but I would assume it's because the girls there don't think about race. They just go with whoever suits them the best which so happens to be white dudes.

Yeah, they are a pretty common couple. I'm from ny and see this a lot too. If they are not with their own... they are with a white man. Very rarely do I see them where I'm from with a different race.

Asian girls only Date white men... I don't know why.. but they do... It's weird seeing an Asian girl and White guy couples because they just don't suit each other and their children turns out ugly most of the time... Is this like a new Trend? If it is... They're just more hesitant when it comes to Hispanic and Black men cause most Asian parents have told them to date/marry in this order: Their own ethnicity, White, East Asians like Korean Japanese or Chinese, and if not any of those Hispanics and then black guys...
Most western born Asians are first generation so their immigrant parents didn't know any better. They just judge based on stereotypes.

I know a lot of latino guys with white girls and a lot of latinas with white guys but in Long Island and queens mainly. I'm talking about nyc.
