Do you think East Asian and Southeast Asian guys are into White girls?

I mean, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, etc. Please do not tell me something like "everyone is different", "it depends on the specific guy", "it is hard to generalize", etc.

My purpose is to get a general or generalized answer.

As an East Asian who is dating a White girl, I have been asked by other White girls who like Asian guys on if East Asian guys are into White girls. I firmly told them "yes, a lot of them like White girls, but are just shy", but now I am beginning to doubt that.

After some random conversations with some Asians and Asian Americans, I find while some of them like White girls, that percentage is not as high as I imagined. Even for those who claim to be into White girls, they seem not "very" eager like me to date White girls.

Another thing is: I also found that for some Asian guys, mostly not Asian Americans, who want to date White girls, they appear more interested in using a White girl as his "bragging material" or "trophy" to show off to his friends and family members from or in his home country.

Those are all my personal feelings and experiences. Are they true?

No they definitely are more into Asian girls. Its kind of a weird dynamic because at first I thought that they only liked girls of their respective nationalities (Chinese liking Chinese, Korean guys liking Korean girls, etc) because of the language barrier. I have spent a lot of time in East Asia (specifically Taiwan and China), and based on all of the Chinese guys I talked to the majority agreed that they thought white girls were "exotic" but they still preferred Chinese/Taiwanese girls (which are basically the same group ethnically). Anyway one thing that a lot of them were interested in was Korean girls (and to a lesser extent Japanese girls). I would be walking down the streets of Beijing and we might pass another white person, and I would point her out and ask my Chinese friends what they thought of her, and they would say she was pretty (usually out of politeness) but usually they didn't want to approach white women. I dont know if they were intimidated by the language barrier (which was what they told me) or if they genuinely didn't like white women, but they would always try to get me to go talk to them (duh cause I'm white, they are white, it makes sense right? haha). Anyway and when they talked amongst themselves about girls it was usually Chinese or Korean girls they were talking about, maybe my friends were weird but it didn't seem like they were that into white girls. They generally seemed to prefer just about any Asian girl over white girls. Which in some cases I dont blame them since white girls... well I'm not going to get into that, I dont want to start any fights, but bottom line the answer to your question I think is generally no. This is East Asians born and raised in East Asia, by the way, I dont count Asians raised in the West because they are more used to white women so they probably like them more. Its interesting though because white women generally aren't that interested in Asian men either so its a funny dynamic, Asian guys aren't that into white girls, and likewise white girls aren't really into Asian men, the opposite is true if you flip the genders though. Asian women love white men, as was clearly evident when I was in China. Part of it was my "exoticism" I suppose, and the fact that I am very good looking by Chinese standards, but they really liked me, and white guys generally like Asian women as well, so its very interesting how that works out.

Based on what my boyfriend has told me, yes, it does seem like east Asians are pretty into white girls. He certainly is as well. Said his preference is for white girls, and would never date an Asian girl because she'd remind him of his mom or something...

I've never had the feeling from him that he is with me to just have me as a trophy.. I've met a lot of his family members that are living here or when they come to visit, but isn't that pretty standard behaviour after you've been together for two years?

What I found is most East Asian students I know here (who just come to North America to study) tell me that they are not very interested in White girls although they think many White girls are attractive. I told a few close female friends of my current girlfriend who like Asian guys that Asian guys like White girls, but now I suspect that it only applies to Asians who grow up in North America, and I might be only an exception among Asians who come to North America very late.

I don't think you can generalize on which type of Asian guys specifically are more into white girls or not. It's probably independent of that, and more based on specifically how they were raised, rich or not so rich, etc.. My boyfriend is sort of in the middle, he technically grew up in China and came over to Canada when he was around 10 years of age. He's always been more for white girls too, with myself and his past girlfriends all having been white.
