I agree, they're mostly bullshit.
I also think that many people who are in successful relationships just got there by dumb luck, and really can't tell others how to do it. Taking their advice is like taking advice from a soldier who's never been into battle. Someone who's been under fire, and knows how it starts and finishes, is likely to know a lot more.

Yeah. A lot of it isn't true, or is stereotyped or something.
And they ALWAYS ALWAYS only make guides for when it's a girl you just met. I've almost NEVER seen anything helpful for asking out/pursuing a girl you're already friends with (not friendzoned though).
Advice is never one size fits all.
I think it's fine to read articles about relationship advice, ask for advice on advice websites, and so on. But no one should be taking it as gospel. It's fine to consider advice that you read online, but you also have to be critical of it, and cognizant that not all men are the same, not all women are the same, and not all relationships are the same (tons of advice is based on generalizations).

@NervousToTheMax I think you bring up a good point. GAG is much different bc it is the advice of a community as compared to one person that might be a "so-called" expert.
