i mean do they all date bad boys and just endure whatever sufering men bring them just because they want to be loved? or could there be females with daddy issues who are actually in control in a relationship and expect to be treated with respect?

And what I mean by "Submissive" is that girls growing up without a father, give in easily to guys because they want to be loved or feel some kind of love from a man.

Daddy issues can manifest in all sorts of ways. Sometimes they come out via kink, sometimes specifically in a Daddy Dom/Little Girl dynamic. Sometimes just generic submissive behaviour. Sometimes it doesn't involve kink at all. It can sometimes be more of an emotional longing, a desire to have a male partner fulfil a male role model position as well as a partnership, and sometimes that can have it's own issues regarding power exchange.

You have to really be careful when you use the term "ALL", because people are so different. It is really difficult to find any behaviour that all people with one characteristic in common will end up sharing.

But you can definitely get that daddy issue stuff out with guys that are NOT 'bad boys'. Not all Doms are bad boys. Not all people that will satisfy that confident male role model position are bad boys. It will just be the case that a girl with daddy issues may be more susceptible to the confidence of a bad boy. A 'good boy' with confidence will work just as well though, should they find one.

I was raped by my father (guess that qualifies as "daddy issues"). And yes i am quite submissive in the bedroom. But im the complete opposite out of the bedroom, i have to have control in all aspects of my life. My SO is not a "bad boy" and respects me completely. Just because he dominates me in bed doesn't mean he doesn't respect me...

I don't think so because my dad was abusive to me, when he was around and I am submissive some what but I also won't put up with a man who doesn't treat me well, i'm very picky and want to be treated as good as I treat someone who i'm with.

I grew up without a father. He went to prison for attempted murder when I was 4. I am far from submissive. I expect to be treated with dignity and respect. We are equals and have no gender roles in our relationship. It works for us.

My friend said he noticed this in girls. His recent ex's dad died when she was young and now she likes to be chocked and dominated. Some other one has an abusive dad and likes the same. Just an observation though
