Why does my long distance boyfriend get busy on weekends yet he doesn't work on weekends? no texts or calls?

I deal with that struggle too with my LDR. He says he's more free on weekends but talks to me just as little as he does during the week while he's at work. If he's not talking to you at all, I would reconsider the relationship. I already told my boyfriend that he would be dumped if he went even 1 day without contacting me (assuming there wasn't an emergency). That's just ridiculous. He obviously doesn't care enough about the relationship or take it seriously at least. I would have a serious talk.

He talk to me a lot when he is working but on weekends when he is free he doesn't talk!

My guess is he talks to you more at work because he's bored and you're a nice distraction. On the weekends he probably likes to relax and do more interesting things than talk to you. Talking is honestly the best thing though. Maybe he doesn't realize how much it hurts you. If he cares enough about you, he'll make more time. Let him know how serious you are about him and that it would make you happy if he talked to you more on the weekends. Try not to threaten him

But this might be a sign that he's cheating or sleeping with another girl. If he really was busy.. I sure he'd still text you anyway.. no matter how busy he is.. ^ U ^ he'd still find the time..

Cause long distance never works, he has a real girlfriend where he is. sorry it only works in the movies long distance is a bad idea
