If the alternative of wearing mismatched ankle socks that people generally won't even notice is leaving my whites in the drier till I run out of clean socks because I hate pairing up my socks with a passion... I'll take it. I make sure to not pair white ankle socks with ankle socks of any other colour, but everything else goes. :)

I wear ankle socks 'cause they tend to be thinner and lightweight, and I'm claustrophobic, and mismatched socks because I like the extra color and patterns -and sometimes as a little "screw you" to the way I'm "supposed" to be dressed.

Because we are too lazy to pair our socks and that it is more like a childish kid like thing. Kind of like the same thing of a lot of girls like coloring with coloring crayons and stuff. It's nostalgic
