He keeps changing his mind?

Last September we broke up, but then he changed his mind and we got back together at the beginning of October. Now yesterday he wanted to break up again, I was upset (I mean crying) but I didn't tell him to stay with me. By the time we were finally plowed out (New England we got a foot of snow) and he was taking me home he had changed his mind again. But now he's not sure if he "loves me" and "for now" he wants me...I'm honestly hurt, he keeps doing this. Is he staying with me out of guilt? I don't want that, I want him happy...but I'll be honest I don't want to loose him so I don't want to ask really. What on earth can I do?

I feel your pain, I went through the same..

I never knew what was going on in his mind and always had to question if he still loved me..

A week ago he told me he wanted to break up with me like for the third time in our 4 month's relationship.

One day later(like usual) he totally regreted it and wanted me back. But this time I stayed strong and told him not to contact me anymore.

Now I feel relieved, of course a little lonely , but at least I don't have to worry about such stupid things anymore.

You should put an end to this relationship before it breaks you totally down.

honey, I JUST went through this last month. It's either he really doesn't know what he wants, which in that case he still isn't worth it. because you deserve better no one deserves to be told that, or its that he likes someone else, but he isn't sure if she likes him to, so he's keeping you around until he knows dor sure that she likes him.. in my case, he broke up with me two times, for me to realize he liked some other girl, I'm not saying that he does, but chances are, that's what's going on.i wish the best.. I know its not easy... xxx

Another option is that some guys have issues, they first need to get over themselves, or "discover" themselves, before they can date someone else. Outdoor adventures might help.

I think he does not love you, but he miss your physical closeness. Perhaps he only likes you as a friend, and so he finds it really hard to make up his mind. I don't have the answer, but perhaps you should try only being friends (without benefits) for a while.
