Why does this girl act weird and awkward around?

She stares from a distance but won't look at me when nearby, always looks away or looks down. She blushes and acts excited when walking past me. Her friends are always staring at me from a distance. She talks loudly around me. She was watching me from a distance through the corner of her eyes, then came and started talking to the people beside me, looking over their shoulders to look at me and quickly looking away. She saw me, raised her eyebrows, nodded her head at me and looked away. She gets nervous, flustered & awkward around me.

She talks normally and confidently with EVERYONE else. She just stares at me from a distance or when nearby has her head down smiling...

Your not making her uncomfortable, it sounds like she is nervous around you. If she is nervous around you then she likes you and she wants to talk to you but she doesn't know what to say. Try starting conversations with her and getting to know her and she will begin to feel more comfortable around you.
