Well, given how well the Mediterranean population has done, I'm pretty sure hairy men get love from women. Not only that, but in my experience if they're not comfortable with their hairiness, they usually turn towards beauticians (waxers) not guys.

I'd say that's too much for me, but personally I tend to find my taste in guys is in the minority... a small minority. Also, while those culture are very male driven, especially over the last 50 years or so, women have definitely *chosen* to specifically be with these guys, a lot of women from Melbourne (near me) tend to chose them I've noticed... but there's lot of things you can do about being hairy if it really bothers you, and yeah it can suck and be a hassle but the thing that will most encourage a women to like a guy for who he is, is if *he* likes himself for who he is. Not saying he thinks he's the best thing ever, but pretty happy with himself.
