What does it mean if he uses my name when he texts me?

OKAY so pretend my name is Brenda :)

sometimes he'll send me a text and be like " hahah that's pretty sweet Brenda" .. so on and so forth.



i heard it's like a slight way of him trying to get your attention or whatever. what do you guys think? sometimes when I specifically use his name in a text I do it so that he knows I'm not just throwing back a lame text. also, we are kind of seeing each other. yup. thanks for your suggestions :)

It means that he likes you and trying to get ur attention. My guy does that too when he texts me like he be like "wsup Brenda" or "Brenda!" for example. He also uses a lot of exclamation marks so he must really like me.

I say it so my girl knows I'm serious and that I really mean what I'm saying. Using her name really adds a strong touch to something like a text, IM or email.

I think it kind of adds some closeness and intimacy, using the first name, especially when he doesn't have to. He may also enjoy texting your name, and the attentiveness and attention it brings to it.
