What do you think of girls that are willing to have a friends with benefits situation?

I recently got into a bit of a disagreement with one of my male friends on the topic of girls that have had/are willing to have friends with benefits relationships. He said that girls who will have uncommitted sex are hard to respect or take seriously and most guys will run the other way because it means they're not loyal. This absolutely blew my mind because I think that is a very extreme generalization to make, especially given how many guys act the same way.

I personally have a friends with benefits (and I'm a relationship girl). My friends with benefits is one of my closest friends, someone I've known and trusted for years. I work almost 80 hours a week and am way too busy to be involved with someone seriously. If anything, the fact that I take relationships seriously means I'm not willing to jump into one.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think it's ok for any single person out there to have a friends with benefits; Male or female. if you know you're not ready for a relationship, then no need to lead someone on. After my divorce, i was contacted by a mutual friend, who knew I wasn't ready to date anybody, but she kind of showed me how live a single life, and how to understand my feelings with someone you're just having sex with. The difference between basic human needs and loneliness. It has saved me some trouble, otherwise I could have been in a terrible relationship, just because I was lonely and horney.

I disagree i had a girl who wsnted to be my friends with benefits we sexted etc. And when we ended it that was it. It doesn't make her anyless. It didn't affect her relationship with her man going forward, or our friendship lol were still distant friends. Its kinda dumb that this person said that because how would he know if a girl had/has a friends with benefits, he will treat them the same either way because he doeznt know. The poor bastard prob doesn't know you have a friends with benefits. lol such bs. "hard to respect"

We are all human beings we all have needs there's a part of our brain that allows us to have sex for pleasure

and sometimes we need to unwind how we choose to do that is our choice.

It's just tricky because when you find someone or start dating it's difficult to determine if its proper that your getting railed while dating

i mean he's entitled to his opinion. i don't necessarily lose respect for a person who is in a casual sex relationship. it sort of depends on the details of that relationship that would make me wonder if the person is promiscuous and that may lead me to question them as potential dating material... but i don't lose respect for people just because they are in a friends with benefits relationship

I've had friends with benefits and didn't think any less of the girls at all... if anything I respected them taking ownership of their sexuality and not being afraid to enjoy themselves.
