How long do you want your next relationship to last?

I don't believe in marriage but I would love a relationship to last forever (like the movies, but sadly this is real life.) When I was in my early 20s I swore off guys because I've seen so many girls have bad bfs (they were cheaters and liars.) Today's generation is terrible at relationships. They have friends with benefits, one night stands and side chicks. Terrible.
I gave a guy an opportunity but he ruined it by cheating on me. I gave him my all and was the best girlfriend. I gave him space to hang out with his buddies or have alone time. I was there for him through hard times (the guy has a lot of issues.) I was loyal, honest and loving. Somehow that wasn't enough and he made another girl his girlfriend while still seeing me. That girl has her own live in boyfriend but still wanted my guy to be her boyfriend.
I gave him a second chance but its not the same.

I thought the whole point of relationships was to find someone you could spend the rest of your life with. lol

Yes, but it's not like people plan them beforehand, like "oh this time I wanna break up June 25th". Everyone wants them to last forever even though it doesn't always end up like that.

The reason behind they get A++ is they give their full attention to studies - means that if people will give full attention in a relationship, they'll be able to make it last for the rest of their lives.

Well not in all cases. Sometimes that is true but other times you just don't make a good match and that's it. Many great people out there, but not all of them will fit with each other.
