Why are men so ugly?

I've even heard women say they are more physically/ sexually attracted to women (even if they claim to be straight) but because of the emotional connection they are able to build with men they only date guys.

So basically men are ugly and the only reason women date men over women is because they can connect better emotionally?

If a woman is more sexually attracted to women than she is to men, then she can’t claim to be straight.

But feelings sexually attracted to someone, and finding them aesthetically pleasing, are not at all the same thing.

Personally I find men much more appealing and attractive than women.

Women have curves, soft, smooth skin and pretty faces.

Those are feminine qualities that men are programmed to find attractive. Women, on the other hand, are programmed to find masculine traits attractive. It’s actually very logical.
