I am turning 17, and have love this fictional character for so long. Back to 7 years ago, My classmates said I am crazy to love a fictional character. Mom said I will not have a crush on him when I get older. But mom was wrong I still do and I am almost 18. I mean he is journalist who has a beautiful soul, brave, clever, very mature (to his age) and he’s very handsome in the movie. He acts like a gentleman instead of a boy (he’s 18) I mean is it odd to have a crush on Tintin for so long and it never gets away? This is how Tintin looks in the movie:

Look, I mean I don't really get the Tintin thing (I read the comics years before the movie came out) but I've had various crushes on guys in anime and jack frost, and they involved much weirder situations as well as questionable ages.
its actually normal. psychology says that 3 in 5 readers or show watchers get a crush ob a fictional charecter.(sorry for psychological refference. i am a psychology student and had read about it in a research paper)
I grew up on the cartoon series, I really enjoyed those. I don't think it is weird you have this crush. Go with it, maybe find a guy that looks like him.
